Teacher qualification recognition is a process in which the government confirms the qualifications of those who want to engage in the teaching profession,affirms that they have certain qualifications and abilities,and issues professional licenses.It has a binding effect on the conditions that teachers should have,which is the original intention of the government to implement this work to screen out educational talents with real professional knowledge and abilities.Junior high school English teachers play an important role that cannot be ignored in English education,and their quality directly affects students’ subsequent English learning.The qualification of English teachers in junior high schools is a necessary part of teachers’ admission,which affects the quality of teachers and determines the quality of English teaching.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the qualifications of English teachers in junior high schools.Through the methods of questionnaires and interviews,this research takes applicants for the qualification of junior high school English teachers,in-service English teachers and interviewers as the research objects,and takes teacher specialization and human resource management as the theoretical basis to study the qualification of junior high school English teachers in Y City.According to the actual situation,it compares the reality and what should be the qualification of junior high school English teachers,finds out the existing problems and the reasons for the problems,and tries to put forward strategies to improve the qualification of junior high school English teachers.The specific contents include the following aspects:First,the introduction.The content of this part includes the research background,the review of the existing domestic and foreign research results,the description of the theoretical basis of teacher qualification recognition,the definition of the core concepts,and the introduction of research methods and research ideas.In order to pave the way for the follow-up research of this paper.Second,the status quo of the qualification certification of English teachers in junior high schools in Y City.On the basis of previous research,after the self-made questionnaire test,220 questionnaires for applicants and 59 questionnaires for teachers were distributed through Questionnaire Star,and five junior high school English teachers and two interviewers were interviewed.Investigate the three dimensions of identified condition,identification content and method,identification management,and use SPSS and EXCEL to organize and analyze the data.The accreditation conditions are divided into two aspects:basic conditions and professional conditions;the content and methods of accreditation include three aspects: the written examination of educational courses,the written examination of subject courses,and the interview of education and teaching ability.The management of accreditation includes selection and training of interviewers and regular accreditation of in-service teacher qualification in two ways.This paper conducts a multi-dimensional and multi-angle study on the status quo of English teacher qualification certification in Y city.Third,the problems and reasons for the qualification of English teachers in junior middle schools in Y City are analyzed.Through the data collation in Chapter 2,it is found that the qualifications of English teachers in junior high schools in Y City mainly include deviations in the applicants’ understanding of qualifications,poor matching of qualifications and job requirements,unreasonable procedure of interview accreditation,and management of qualifications that are not conducive to teachers’ professionalism development then figure out the reasons.The reasons for the problems are mainly attributed to the applicant’s utilitarian understanding of qualification accreditation,the low effectiveness of the qualification accreditation conditions,the unscientific regulations on interview accreditation,the incomplete accreditation content and method,and the management of the interviewer team as well as in-service teacher qualification management is not perfect.Fourth,the optimization strategy for the qualification of English teachers in Y city junior high school.Aiming at the problems and attribution analysis of the qualifications of English teachers in junior middle schools in Y City,it is suggested that Y City should deepen the applicants’ ideological understanding of qualification certification by clarifying the professional cognition of teachers and improving the awareness of independent development.Strictly identify teachers’ ethics and increase English language proficiency requirements to effectively improve the qualifications and meet the actual needs of the post.Improve the interview scoring standards,open the scores of various indicators in the interview to improve the transparency of identification,so as to standardize and improve the relevant provisions of the interview.Enrich the content and form of the written examination;improve the educational practice mechanism;add non-normal students’ educational practice assessment;supplement the information technology ability assessment to optimize the content and methods of accreditation and improve the validity of the accreditation of subject teaching ability.Strategies such as strengthening the management of the interviewer team and speeding up the implementation of regular certification of in-service teacher qualifications to strengthen the management of certification.Fifth,the conclusion.By reflecting on the summary of the results of this research and its flaws,points out the shortcomings in order to further improve and perfect it.
