Internet altruistic behavior is a manifestation of altruistic behavior in the network,specifically referring to individuals voluntarily making behaviors beneficial to others without obvious selfish motives in the network.As digital aboriginal junior middle school students,the Internet is closely related to their lives,and there are more and more altruistic behaviors generated in the network environment.Focusing on Internet altruistic behaviors is of great significance for shaping the healthy personality of junior middle school students and constructing a civilized network environment.The ability of junior middle school students to engage in internet altruistic behavior is influenced by a variety of factors,among which social support in the online environment,as a positive environmental booster,affects the occurrence of online altruistic behavior.Therefore,this study will explore the relationship between online social support and internet altruistic behavior among junior middle school students,and attempt to introduce two variables: gratitude and self-efficacy,To test whether there is a chain mediating role in the impact of online social support on internet altruistic behavior,and based on this,to propose educational suggestions to improve the level of internet altruistic behavior of junior middle school students.In this study,a total of 500 students in Grade 1,2 and 3 of a middle school in Qingdao were tested on the spot,using the " Online Social Support Scale","Internet Altruistic Behavior Scale" as measurement tools,and using SPSS25.0 and Mplus7.0 to statistically analyze the data.It explored the relationship between network social support and internet altruistic behavior,as well as the role of gratitude and self-efficacy in it.The main results are as follows:(1)There are significant gender differences in junior middle school students’ online social support and internet altruistic behavior;There are significant differences in self-efficacy between genders in terms of whether they are single child,student origin,and grade;There are no significant differences in the feelings of junior middle school students in terms of gender,whether they are an only child,student origin,and grade.(2)There is a positive correlation between junior middle school students’ online social support,gratitude,self-efficacy,and internet altruistic behavior.(3)Junior middle school students’ online social support can positively predict internet altruistic behavior,and gratitude plays a partial mediating role between online social support and internet altruistic behavior;Self efficacy plays a partial mediating role between online social support and internet altruistic behavior.(4)The gratitude and self-efficacy of junior middle school students play a chain mediating role between online social support and internet altruistic behavior.(5)Based on the results of empirical research,educational suggestions are proposed to promote the internet altruistic behavior of junior middle school students at the school,family,social,and individual levels,such as developing curriculum resources in schools to cultivate the internet altruistic behavior of junior middle school students;Pay attention to family education to improve the level of gratitude and self-efficacy of junior middle school students;Junior middle school students themselves attach importance to building support networks and cultivating awareness of altruistic behavior. |
