Research On Court Sports In The Jin Dynasty

As we all know,the Jin Dynasty was a feudal dynasty of ethnic minorities in the Central Plains established by the Nuzhen ethnic group.As early as the clan period,Nuzhen ethnic group multiplied and lived between Changbai Mountain and Heilongjiang.After a long-term historical development process,it created and formed a cultural system with unique ethnic characteristics of fishing and hunting.With the establishment of the ruling regime in the Central Plains,the fishing and hunting culture of Nuzhen ethnic group began to deeply intersect and integrate with the farming culture in the Central Plains,opening a historical situation of multi-cultural integration.In this historical environment of multi-ethnic cultural integration,Nvzhen ethnic group,based on its ethnic traditional sports culture,is constantly compatible with the content and form of farming sports culture in the Central Plains,forming a sports culture system with a unique cultural outlook of fishing and hunting.In terms of Court Sports alone,an aristocratic sports system with riding and shooting,hunting,shooting willows,polo,Cuju,corner strike and backgammon as the main contents has been formed,which has effectively promoted the development and progress of the overall sports culture of the Jin Dynasty.According to the anthropological point of view and the division of social strata,the sports of the Jin Dynasty are divided into two levels: Court Sports and folk sports.As the main body and cultural mainstream of sports in the Jin Dynasty,Court Sports in the Jin Dynasty played a vital leading role in the overall development of sports in the Jin Dynasty.Therefore,to study the sports of the Jin Dynasty,we should first explain and analyze the historical background,characteristics,form and content of the Court Sports of the Jin Dynasty,and then lay an academic foundation for investigating the overall picture of the sports culture of the Jin Dynasty.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,historical research and double evidence to collect and sort out the documents related to the Court Sports of the Jin Dynasty in various historical periods.At the same time,it draws lessons from relevant archaeological achievements and studies relevant modern and contemporary works.The research shows that the physical education of the Jin Dynasty is the product of the integration of Nvzhen sports,Qidan sports and farming sports in the Central Plains,With multicultural characteristics;The sports of Jin Dynasty rooted in the production mode of Nvzhen fishing and hunting,grew up in the practice of multi-ethnic cultural integration,and was the crystallization of multi-ethnic sports culture;Based on the traditional sports of the ethnic group,the Court Sports of the Jin Dynasty widely collected the cultural nutrition of the northern ethnic minorities and the farming ethnic groups in the Central Plains,developed and matured continuously,and expressed its unique cultural style in the form of competitive sports,fitness sports and leisure sports;The vigorous development of Court Sports in the Jin Dynasty promoted the improvement and progress of sports in the Jin Dynasty and made an important contribution to the formation of the "pluralistic and integrated" development pattern of Chinese traditional sports culture.
