| Nowadays,with the rapid development in the Internet technology,this text can help teenagers consolidate their foundation in the field of programming.The source text of this translation practice is the first three chapters of Coding Games in Scratch,which mainly introduces Scratch and design games,the features being literary,interesting,accurate and popular.This report aims to adopt the sci-tech translation in the field of programming,explore the handling of difficulties.Through case analysis method at both the vocabulary and syntax levels in this report,the translator combines Adaption Theory with sci-tech translation closely,and to realize the harmonization of source text and target text.Firstly,at vocabulary level,the translator applies techniques such as literal translation and annotation to solve the common proper nouns in sci-tech text;adopts part-of-speech transformation to convert noun structures into other parts of speech,conforming to the reading habits of Chinese readers;utilizes four-character structure to conventional expression.Secondly,at syntax level,the translator uses the technique of voice conversion to transform passive sentences that do not conform to Chinese expression habits into active forms;adds rhetorical devices to make the expression more interesting;manipulates pre-attributes and post-fixed ways to solve attributive clauses,optimizing sentences structures.Through this translation practice,the translator hopes to provide a reference and learning source for young people in the field of programming,and has also verified the practical guiding significance of Adaption Theory,providing some reference for other translators in applying translation theory. |
