A Study On The Philosophical Basis Of Xi Jinping’s Mass Viewpoint

The view of the masses is the theoretical basis for the Communists to formulate lines,guidelines and policies,and is an important viewpoint of Marxist philosophy.The Party Central Committee has grasped the law,followed the trend and insisted on exploring it,forming Xi Jinping’s view of the masses,which provides the fundamental ideological guidance for the in-depth development of the Party’s work with the masses.This paper attempts to systematically study the philosophical basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses from a philosophical perspective,in an attempt to paint a full picture of it,in order to inspire people to adhere to the theoretical consciousness of using scientific theory to guide the work of the masses.The precondition for grasping the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses is the theoretical origins and practical basis on which Xi Jinping’s view of the masses was formed.In terms of its theoretical origins,General Secretary Xi Jinping has inherited and developed the Marxist view of the masses and drawn on the excellent cultural achievements of the people-oriented thinking in traditional Chinese philosophy,in line with the trend of development of the times and the laws of social development,so as to further develop the Party’s view of the masses;in terms of its practical foundation,it stems from the practical experience of the collective view of the masses of successive generations of Party leaders and from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s own practical experience in politics.It is a scientific theory derived from practice.Xi Jinping’s view of the masses is based on Marxist philosophy as a guiding ideology.General Secretary Xi Jinping’s in-depth implementation of the people-centred ideology has led to the formation of his unique view of the masses.The philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s mass view itself contains a profound theoretical system,and the foundations of materialism,dialectics,epistemology and materialist-historical view contained therein construct the basic framework of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s mass view,and present characteristics that are adapted to the requirements of the times and the needs of the masses.The materialistic basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses discusses mass work and its underlying philosophical implications from three aspects:the relationship between matter and consciousness and its methodology;the dialectical basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses focuses on the analysis of mass work in the new era from the law of unity of opposites;the epistemological basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses emphasises the need to keep abreast of the times,to develop and innovate,and to achieve the concrete and historical unity of theory and practice;The materialist-historical basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses develops the study of mass work and its philosophical connotations from two aspects:the people are the creators of history and the people are the subjects of value creation and value evaluation.The philosophical basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses is explored in depth from both the knowledge and action aspects,further clarifying the value of studying this philosophical basis.In terms of theoretical value,it is an enrichment and development of the Marxist view of the masses and of the Party’s philosophy of governance.In terms of practical value,the philosophical basis of Xi Jinping’s view of the masses has improved the Party’s ability to resolve internal conflicts within the people with its own scientific and advanced nature,and has provided the right direction to lead the construction of a harmonious China.
