Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Treatment Of "Doretta’s Dream"

Since the 20 th century,more and more Chinese music lovers have begun to accept and love operas from abroad.In particular,the aria in opera has become very common in China’s major music institutions around how to use bel canto to guide and learn the aria.The most noteworthy is the soprano aria created by Puccini.Puccini was a great Italian opera composer who devoted his entire life to creating operas.This article mainly focuses on the aria "Doretta Had a Beautiful Dream" in his opera "The Swallow".Firstly,it briefly introduces Puccini’s life and the creation of the opera "Doretta Had a Beautiful Dream".Secondly,it focuses on the analysis of the artistic characteristics of "What a Beautiful Dream Doretta Did" from aspects such as music,character images,and emotional interpretation.Finally,it combines its own singing experience and learning from other singers to conduct a detailed analysis of the singing process of "What a Beautiful Dream Doretta Did".I hope to provide some reference and suggestions for opera lovers who can better perform aria.
