Cultural industry is a sunrise industry in the 21 st century,reflects the innovation and technology requirements of cultural industry in the era of knowledge economy.It is also the important growth point of economic development around the world.The development of cultural industry laid a solid foundation for the expansion of cultural trade.And around the world the cultural products trade have grown from $219.2 billion to $381.1 billion during last ten years.Meanwhile,Chinese cultural industry and trade improved quickly.In 2010 Chinese culture product exports become the world's largest cultural products exporter.Chinese cultural products trade is up to $65.95 billion in 2013.Chinese cultural products trade covered 220 countries around the world in 2015 While the main import and export market is still in developed countries.In order to improve Chinese cultural products' international competitiveness,expand cultural products trade,and solve the problem of unbalanced trade structure,we must research on the main factors of Chinese cultural products trade.On the basis of literature studying,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of cultural products trade firstly.Then choose 20 countries and regions which had the most cultural products export trade with China in 2015.We used the cultural products import and export trade data of the 20 countries and regions from 2004 to 2015.This paper has a deeply research on how cultural distance affecting the Chinese cultural products import and export through the extended gravity model.The empirical research has shown that cultural distance has promoting effect on the export of Chinese cultural products and have blocking effect on the import.Cultural distance between high-income countries and China promotes the export of cultural products,while blocks the import.Cultural distance between low-income countries and China has blocking effect on import and export.Therefore,pay attention to the nationality of cultural products,diversity of content and the brand,fully integrate the Chinese elements to the product of prominent features to meet the demand of kinds of cultural products.Understand the local consumption habits,excavate the cultural acceptance of product and reduce the transaction costs.
