Study On The Spatial And The Temporal Evolution Of Population Distribution And Driving Factors In Heilongjiang Province

Population distribution is one of the important contents of the national strategy of balanced population development.Under the background of rapid population flow,the context of Chinese modernization and the strategic environment of China ’s population development planning,it is of great significance to study the spatial distribution pattern of population and its influencing factors for formulating regional population policies,guiding the rational redistribution of population,promoting the coordination of human-land relationship and promoting high-quality regional development.Based on the census data of 2000,2010 and 2020,the evolution characteristics of the spatial and temporal pattern of population in Heilongjiang Province were analyzed.On this basis,the influencing factors affecting the spatial and temporal distribution of population in Heilongjiang Province were explored.The results show that:(1)The overall population of Heilongjiang Province shows a declining trend,with inter-scale polarization effect,negative natural growth rate,frequent population movement,low urbanization quality,and serious aging.The population density distribution shows sparse and dense zoning based on topography,characterized by central periphery and belt-like agglomeration patterns.(2)The center of gravity of population is always located in the southwest of Heilongjiang Province,the unevenness of population distribution in counties increases,attrition and agglomeration exist simultaneously,the population distribution is spatially correlated,and the population offset under the four types reflects different problems of population development.(3)Population distribution in Heilongjiang Province is subject to the combined effect of natural factors and socio-economic factors.Among them,natural factors play a fundamental and historical foundation role,and socio-economic factors play an important role in the population evolution pattern from 2000 to 2020.The per capita savings balance of urban and rural residents,basic public service expenditures,and the number of secondary school students have obvious positive effects on the population distribution,and road line mileage and per capita GDP have negative effects on the population distribution as a whole;(4)Population-economic coordination is growing,but population concentration > economic concentration,and counties and cities that do not achieve good coordination between economy and population account for a large proportion.In the future,promoting reasonable population distribution and achieving sustainable regional population-economy-society development are important issues facing Heilongjiang Province.
