On The Ethical Narration And Narrative Ethics Of Wang Zengqi’s Novels

Fiction narration is an art with ethical nature,and narrative ethics is the theoretical method to study the ethics of narration.The interior of the novel inevitably reflects ethical themes,ethical relations and ethical requirements,while the narrative form itself also has ethical effects.The narrative skills,rhetoric and structure will produce ethical meaning,and the author,narrator and characters are all transmitting their own value tendencies.At the same time,the narrative of the novelis also deeply connected with the author’s life experience,and each writer has formed his own unique outlook on life and ethics,and his writing has different narrative ethics because of this.Wang Zengqi’s novels are all short stories,but they are rich in moral connotation and ethical tendency,because his creation itself contains considerations of practical significance.This thesis studies the narrative ethics of his novels from three aspects according to narrative ethics.The first part discusses the three ethical dimensions in Wang Zengqi’s novels,including folk ethics,Confucian ethics and marriage ethics.Each theme corresponds to his different ethical exploration and values,which is the key to understanding the spirit of his novels.The second part explores the ethical role in its narrative form,that is,the narrative strategy it adopts and the corresponding ethical effect,mainly starting from three aspects,namely perspective,time and space,and interpreting the ethical purpose and meaning contained therein.The third part discusses the mechanism of action between Wang Zengqi’s unique life experience and his narrative ethics,and the influence of some important experiences in his life,including family atmosphere,cultural education and social activities,on the formation of his narrative ethics,so as to understand the causes of his narrative ethics.On the basis of narrative ethics,this thesis uses the method of text close reading to analyze the ethical effect and corresponding narrative strategy of his novel narrative,explores the rich ethical implication and artistic value of his novel narrative,and combines the author’s life to explore the historical psychological factors of the formation of his narrative ethics.Based on the close reading of the text,this thesis uses narrative ethics to analyze the ethical effect and corresponding narrative strategies of Wang Zengqi’s novel narrative,and explores the rich ethical meaning and artistic value in Wang Zengqi’s novel narrative.
