With the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China raised cultural confidence to a new height,the competition of cities began to shift from traditional hard power such as economic conditions and infrastructure to soft power such as history,culture and spiritual civilization.As an important part of the soft power of a city,the city propaganda film is an image form for each city to publicize and construct its own image,which can play a role in shaping and promoting the city image.Through consulting urban propaganda films and relevant literature,it is found that the creation style of urban propaganda films tends to be homogeneous,and the creation content is excessively spectacular,which leads to the neglect of the subject "people" in the city and the audience’s emotion.This paper first through to the theory of city propaganda literature,the present situation of the creation of the AD,understand the city’s residents to city propaganda plays the key role and analysis of the development trend of urban feature films,clear city propaganda film "localization" and "residents" of image text symbols,in a joint construction of city spirit and culture the role and advantage.Secondly,taking the artistic creation strategies and elements of The Lanzhou city propaganda film impression of Jincheng as an example,this paper expounds the artistic creation strategies and elements of the city propaganda film from four aspects.The first part is the narrative strategy.In the narrative mode,it studies the coexistence of internal and external perspectives to enhance the role of the subject "human" in the city.In terms of narrative structure,the work is divided into three chapters by using the narrative structure of plate and linear interweaving,while maintaining the consistency of the central idea and improving the integrity of the internal logic of the image text.The second part is visual language,which is a necessary element of the propaganda film.It discusses the rich landscape changes to explain the harmonious coexistence between the city and residents,and enhances the image of the city with colors and light that affect the audience’s psychology.At the same time,using subjective and objective lens language,the city residents and the audience together to construct the city image;The third part is auditory language,which is another extension of the city spirit.Through case analysis,how to create the atmosphere of the picture,shorten the psychological distance of the audience,and make use of the intimacy of the original sound to resonate with the audience.At the same time,the background music with strong regional characteristics is selected to help the audience generate the association of the city.The fourth part of the project innovatively integrates the image text and visual text of the city propaganda film,thus presenting a "dynamic poster" effect,and uses the addition of Mg animation to help the audience decode the image text.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures for the artistic creation of urban propaganda film under the background of new media through creative practice: excavating the city spirit to shape the city image;Using modern technology to catch the eye of the audience;Integrate new forms to enrich the emotion of the city.It provides theoretical and practical reference for promoting the development of urban propaganda film art creation.
