According to the Atlas of Chinese Language,Xiaoshan and its domestic dialects belong to the Shaoxing section branch,Taihu,Wu dialect.Yinong Town is located between Keqiao District and Xiaoshan District,and its dialects have similarities and differences with the neighboring dialects.This paper describes the phonological system of the aged-dialects’ pronunciation in Yinong Town,combined with relevant data and previous research results,sorts out the phonological system and characteristics of Yinong dialect based on the field investigation and recording,as well as illustrates changes of Yinong dialect by comparison and analysis.The full paper consists of five chapters and can be listed as follows:Chapter Ⅰ Introduction.It introduces geographical situation,population,historical evolution,research methods and significance,as well as investigation and analysis.Chapter Ⅱ The Phonological System of Yinong dialect.It mainly describes the aged dialects’ pronunciation in Yinong,introduces the initials,rhymes and tones,coordination relationship as well as the continuous reading variation of the two-word group.Chapter Ⅲ The Phonological Characteristics of Yinong dialect.The features of initials,rhymes and tones are introduced respectively,and differences between written and spoken language of Yinong dialect are also involved.Chapter Ⅳ Comparative Study of the young and aged dialects’tones of Yinong,Xiaoshan.With the help of experimental phonetics and perceptual linguistics,the tone values of the young and aged dialects are compared,and the merger of Yin ping(阴平)and Yin qu(阴去)is discussed.Chapter Ⅴ Conclusion.Appendix Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ introduce the homonym vocabulary,the comparison between Yinong dialect and the ancient tone"Guangyun"(广韵),and the general table of coordination relationship of Yinong dialect respectively.
