On The Style Characteristics And Singing Exploration Of Poulenc’s Three Art Songs In Different Periods

In the 20 th century,many world-famous musicians were born in France.Among them,the composer Francis Poulenc was especially loved by the world.The free nature of lyricism and romance was not only expressed in his own personality,but also naturally revealed in his musical works.He is not a "conservative" who sticks to the rules,but a "libertarian" who integrates various musical styles.Simplicity and rebellion,tenderness and romance,truthfulness and easygoing all correspond well to his creation style in different periods.So,what kind of musical styles did Poulenc appear in the musical works at different periods? How can we accurately interpret and grasp it in singing? For these issues,the author will discuss in detail in the thesis.Firstly,the first chapter of the thesis will briefly introduce Poulenc’s life and his creation experience,analaze the basis for the division of Poulenc’s different creation periods,and then summarize the musical characteristics of Poulenc’s art songs in different periods;Secondly,from chapter two to chapter four,the characteristics of the music style presented in the early,middle and late periods are comprehensively discussed in combination with the three songs of Poulenc in different periods from the aspects of music noumenon,lyrics language and singing;Starting from the dimensions of melody,rhythm and beat,mode and tonality,piano accompaniment texture,pronunciation and language rhythm,this thesis analyzes the specific characteristics of Poulenc’s art songs in different periods,and makes a more detailed discussion on how to accurately grasp the musical style of Poulenc’s art songs in different periods.Based on my own learning experience and cognition,this paper draws some views and conclusions on the style characteristics and singing of Poulenc’s art songs in different periods.In this way,more peers can feel the charm of music works in the 20 th century,especially Poulenc’s art songs in this period,and provide reference for more vocal music learners and lovers.
