The prepositions in the category of “X Yu” are a group of prepositions that are used very frequently,and they are the key words in all kinds of foreign Chinese syllabuses.The prepositions in this paper include “dui yu”“guan yu”“zhi yu”“you yu”“ji yu”,which are used by international students with various errors and They are related in syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects,as well as the types and causes of the errors.In order to understand the error patterns and causes of the “X Yu” prepositions,this paper analyzes the errors of “X Yu” prepositions in three aspects: syntactic,semantic and pragmatic,based on the error corpus of HSK dynamic composition corpus.Semantic errors are the most common errors that international students make when using “X Yu” prepositions.According to the specific characteristics of the errors,the syntactic errors showed five types: syntactic errors caused by misordering,syntactic errors caused by redundancy of syntactic components,syntactic errors caused by omissions,syntactic errors caused by improper collocation,and compound errors,among which the number of errors caused by redundancy of components was the largest.The semantic errors are of three types: semantic misuses of prepositions,semantic errors caused by the omission of prepositions,and semantic errors caused by the redundancy of prepositions,among which the semantic misuses is the most prominent.The least number of pragmatic errors were found in topic marking and chapter articulation errors.Based on a detailed analysis of the errors,this paper analyzes the causes of the errors from three aspects: learners,teaching materials,and teachers.Potential causes of errors include the interlingual and intralingual interference and learning strategies of learners,unclear explanation of prepositions in the textbook,lack of word sense analysis,few exercises,and the order of arrangement need to be improved,and the single teaching method and weak awareness of word analysis of teachers all contribute to the errors.Therefore,in order to reduce the errors,learners should overcome inter-linguistic interference,give positive feedback and correct learning strategies;textbook writers should improve the explanation of prepositions of the “X Yu” category,increase the number of word analysis sessions and exercises,and adjust the arrangement order appropriately;teachers should have sufficient knowledge reserves,use a combination of formula and example methods,compare and contrast teaching,and contextual teaching.The teachers should have enough knowledge and use a combination of formula and example methods,comparison and contrast teaching,and contextual teaching.Finally,based on the analysis of the causes of the error and the teaching suggestions,the teaching design of the preposition “dui yu” was made. |
