A Study On The Images Of "Little Man" In Intellectuals’ Novels In The New Century

This paper takes the “little man” characters in the intellectuals’ novels in the new century as the research object,the main research objects include the spiritual dilemma of“little man” in intellectuals’ novels,the four faces of “little man” in dilemma,the aesthetic connotation of “little man” in intellectual novels in the new century,and the meaning and the lack of the image of “little man”.Firstly,this paper is based on the concept of “little man” in Russian literature,and combined with China’s actual context and the existing concept of “little man”,in order to redefine “little man” to adapt to the expansion of this paper.The first chapter combines the ideological context and culture of context of the survival of intellectuals and “little man” in the new century to analyzes the spiritual dilemma of secularization,marginalization,anxiety and tragedy of “little man” in intellectuals’ novels in the new century.The second chapter mainly analyzes the four faces of intellectuals in the new century novels——degenerate,submissive,fugitive,and adherent.This paper expects to find the social reasons and the characters’ own reasons in the characters’ spiritual dilemma and the choice differentiation under the dilemma,and to find out the internal relationship between the same and different characters and the value of different images.This third chapter discusses the “conscious”narrative mode used by the writer in telling the stories of these “little man”,and combined with the writer’s creation,this paper analyzes the author’s subject consciousness,combining the “conscious” narrative mode with the writer’s subject consciousness,this paper explains the aesthetic connotation of “little man” in intellectuals’ novels in the new century.The fourth chapter combines the social and historical background and literary history background,to sum up the significance(including social significance,literary significance and ethical significance)and lack of the image of “little man” and medium-sized characters in the novels about intellectuals in the new century.
