A Study Of Julia Kristeva’s Theory And Its Reception In China

As one of the most influential thinkers of the 20 th century,French theorist Julia Kristeva crossed the boundaries of disciplines and put forward many revolutionary ideas in the fields of linguistics,literature,philosophy,etc.,using text,subject,and gender as her research objects.This thesis uses the symbiosis relationship between order and disturbance as the main clues in Kristeva’s theory to sort out Kristeva’s theoretical context and clarify its internal logical relationship for the purpose of providing a new perspective for understanding and elucidating her works,and on this basis,conducts related research on the status of acceptance of her theory in China.This article composes of five parts: introduction,first chapter,second chapter,third chapter and conclusion.In the introduction,this article explains the research background and basic logic of this thesis from three aspects: the meaning of the topic and the explanation of the perspective,the current research status at home and abroad,the research ideas and method.In the first chapter,this article presents and discusses the theoretical construction and acceptance status of Kristeva’s theory of the text,argues that she starts from the limitation of structuralism,analyzes the process of signification practice and incorporates emotional drive and ideology with linguistic ideographic system to put forward the two key concepts of "symbolic" and "semiotic".Domestic acceptance of her linguistic theory is mainly based on theoretical interpretation,so that the meaning expression of literary texts can be examined from a dynamic perspective.In the second chapter,this article presents and discusses the theoretical construction and acceptance status of Kristeva’s subject theory,and believes that she follows the logic that humans are shaped by language shaped by body,which is combined with psychoanalytic theory,to propose terms such as "subject in process" and "abjection".Domestic acceptance of its subject theory mainly regards it as an adjunct to her linguistic theory and gender theory,and neglects her highlight of being.In the third chapter,this article presents and discusses the theoretical construction and acceptance status of Kristeva’s gender theory,argues that her gender theory is based on the mother’s body during pregnancy and childbirth,and the premise of the construction of the parent’s family identity.Domestic acceptance of its gender theory is rather complicated.The prominent feature is the attention to gender symbols,but there are also phenomena of extreme interpretation of her theory.From the current situation of Kristeva’s reception in China,the conceptual interpretation and principle elucidation of her theory,as well as the hypothetical origin and development from the perspective of the academic community,have all been comprehensively discussed.However,there still are a certain degree of issues in the process of reception,such as homogeneity and the neglect of the culture background,which require further consideration and interpretation by researchers,thereby carry out effective academic reproduction based on the acceptance of foreign literary theories.
