Paying attention to Wang Yuqi’s living experience and writing when he lived in Tianjin is an important dimension for the study of "local path".Why does a Sichuanese write about Tianjin so authentically? This question actually contains the literary experience of China in the 1930 s and an important motif in the research of modern Chinese literature-local writing. From 1930 to 1937,the process of Tianjin’s colonization and urbanization accelerated, showing a major social and cultural formation in China during the transition period.Wang Yuqi discovered himself in his discovery of Tianjin and his feelings of "loneliness" and "restlessness",and gradually found his position in the new literature career. At the same time,he discovered "China" and began to think about the Chinese people’s specific perception of their own survival methods and role images in a global situation. From Sichuan to Beiping to Tianjin, the trans-regional living experience has influenced Wang Yuqi’s literary creation, aesthetic concepts and spiritual aspirations. From "Worthy Reward" to "Zi Liu Jing" to "Haihe River Billowing",he voluntarily adheres to the responsibility of intellectuals to society, and observes life from the perspective of "place" and "daily".Presenting Wang Yuqi’s living experience and exploring the generation, expression and transformation of his survival experience will help us understand his Tianjin writing. Moreover, this is also a good way to study the relationship between people and city, literature and space.Based on the investigation of Wang Yuqi’s living experience when he lived in Beiping and Tianjin, combined with the overall situation of his writting, this article focuses on the text of " Haihe River Billowing ",and explores Wang Yuqi’s own survival in the world. The specific experience of the situation,to explore how such deep experience provided him with what kind of interest, and how it affected his emotional appeal and literary creation, and what kind of vitality the writer’s works exhibited under such impetus. The first chapter examines Wang Yuqi’s literary and urban experience when he lived in Beiping and Tianjin. After living in Tianjin,Wang Yuqi felt that the strong cultural atmosphere and simple humanity that he had experienced in Beiping had disappeared. It is replaced by the increasingly prominent urban-rural contradictions and the urban ethos of valuing profits and neglecting culture. On the one hand, his creative focus has shifted from ethics to the city.By describing the influence and exile of the city on the country people,he reveals the state of the world in which the city people have power rightly in front of the country people, and presents the changes in the structure of modern Chinese society and intellectual. On the other hand,Wang Yuqi writes novels, publishes publications, and interacts with colleagues based on his cognition of Tianjin, hoping to open up new prospects for Tianjin new literature. In this way,Wang Yuqi gradually integrated into the city, and resisted the city.If we put Wang Yuqi in the literary trend of thought and compare it with popular literature writers and other new literature writers,we can see more clearly the unique meaning of his local writing, emotional logic, and ideological trend.Popular literature writers are usually locals, and they feel more about the harmony of Tianjin.Words such as loneliness often appear in the writing of new literature writers. From these expressions,we can find that writers have two aspects of anxiety.First, they feel that New Literature has no right to speak in Tianjin.Second, they are worried about social problems and national crises. Many new literature writers express their immense passion in this anxiety, but Wang Yuqi based his daily life, and integrates his deep thoughts on individual survival experience into his novels, and finally forms a unique "Jin Taste" writing. The second chapter discusses Wang Yuqi’s semi-colonial experience and the presentation of these experiences in his novels. As a semi-colonial city,Tianjin is full of gunpowder and has become an important space for interpreting the writer’s living experience.Under the background of colonial invasion and in the coexistence of Chinese and Western cultures,Wang Yuqi formed insights into history and reality. In the novels, these insights are presented in three aspects. The first is to show the division of Tianjin by colonial forces, showing that the appearance of the nine-nation concession has brought psychological harm and changes in style to Tianjin people.Second,he described the tragic fate of civil servants, workers, and national capitalists, and pointedly pointed out: The coastal metropolis is only a deformed semi-capitalist and semi-feudal form, and individuals and national capital industries under colonial oppression cannot escape their bad luck. The third is to criticize the basic culture in the description of the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures, revealing the ambivalence of Chinese people’s cowardice and arrogance. The third chapter implements the text of "Haihe River Billowing" to explore Wang Yuqi’s dialect experience and what kind of tributary it has brought into the writing of the city. The language of "Haihe River Billowing" has both local characteristics and personal interest. It is an effective narrative strategy. It carries Wang Yuqi’s local experience, way of thinking, literary pursuit, social thoughts and other elements.Returning to the exploration of his living conditions and creative psychology,we can specifically categorize the factors that affect his language strategy into three points: the needs of readers and newspapers, popular literary views, and Chinese character thinking.Wang Yuqi’s language anxiety and resistance based on his survival experience demonstrated the dilemma of "modifying the masses" and reflected his deep understanding of Tianjin’s current situation and Tianjin citizens in the 1930 s.The connotation of "Tianjin Path" is nurtured in it.
