Research On The Logical Basis Of Artificial Intelligence "Ethically Aligned Design"

Artificial intelligence is a form of technology.The development of artificial intelligence should be guided by human values and human should be the goal.The design of artificial intelligence nowadays can not only focus on the technical level.but also the ethical level.Optimize artificial intelligence technology from an ethical point of view,and transform reasonable ethical norms into technical design methods that engineers and technicians can refer to.Therefore,in order for artificial intelligence to "ethically aligned design" and enable it to have certain moral decision-making capabilities,the expression of ethical norms must refer to relevant ethical facts by means of logical operation symbols.The logic-based research path can not only effectively ensure the transparency and interpretability of artificial intelligence ethical decision-making,but also help improve the public’s credibility of artificial intelligence ethical design,and make artificial intelligence ethical design develop in a better direction.At the same time,as an important branch of modern modal logic,deontic logic inevitably includes its core concepts including permission.ought and prohibition.Therefore,the application of deontic logic to the "ethically aligned design" of artificial intelligence enables the ethical theory that regulates the behavior of robots to be concretely formalized,so as to better design artificial intelligence objects,give full play to the role of artificial intelligence,and scientifically solve artificial intelligence.The resulting ethical issues promote the harmonious and orderly development of artificial intelligence technology.This research aims to explore the possibility of artificial intelligence "ethically aligned design" through a logical research path.The specific research content is mainly divided into three parts:In the first part,the concept and possibility of artificial intelligence "ethically aligned design"are analyzed in detail.It is mainly explained from the global proposal of artificial intelligence "ethically aligned design(EAD)" issued by IEEE and the"Foresight of Chinese Robot Ethical Standardization(2019)" issued by China.At the same time,with the help of James Moor’s layered theory of artificial ethical agents,the possibility of artificial intelligence "ethically aligned design" was discussed.And on this basis,an analysis of the real opportunities and strategies for the development of artificial ethical agents is carried out.The second part,the logical research path of artificial intelligence "ethically aligned design" is explored.After introducing the logical basis of artificial intelligence,the logical design method of artificial ethical agents is analyzed in detail.The trustworthiness of the artificial ethical agent’s design method was further verified,and it was concluded that the artificial ethical agent’s logic-based design method is easier to gain the trust of human beings,and effectively promote the sustainable and healthy development of artificial ethical technology.The third part,explains the application and development of logic in the "ethically aligned design" of artificial intelligence.The research path is mainly based on logic,through the analysis of the application of deontic logic in artificial intelligence"ethically aligned design",and then interprets the important role of logic in the ethical design of artificial intelligence.At the same time,it puts forward new requirements for the development of logic,and provides a better direction for the study of non-classical logic such as deontic logic.
