| Anthroponomastics is a subject that studies people’s surnames,first names,and various relationships.Names coexist with social culture and change with social culture.Names are the mirror image of social culture.This paper attempts to focus on focus on the linguistic characteristics of the names of the post-zeros in China based on the statistical analysis of the corpus.It specifically describes and analyzes the character and phonetic characteristics of names from the perspectives of gender,region,and era,and summarizes the regularity and explores the relationship between the semantic connotation of names and social culture.The research on this subject shows that:First of all,the names of post-2000s generation have certain gender characteristics.This is specifically manifested in the following aspects:(1)Influenced by the traditional culture of male superiority and female inferiority,the use of characters in female names is more homogeneous,the use of word levels is more versatile,the rate of repeated names is higher,and the characters of male names are more distinctive,the characters are more unique,and the rate of duplicate names is lower.(2)Under the influence of the traditional thinking inertia of masculinity and femininity,male names mostly seek achievements,masculinity and boldness,and pronunciation pursues roughness,strength,positive feeling,high loudness,etc.,with stronger phonological and rhyme matching.Female names use multiple appearance virtues,feminine and graceful,voice pursues auditory feelings such as low loudness,introversion and softness,and tone collocation is more rhythmic.(3)The syllable form of female names is more complicated than that of male names.Secondly,the names of people born after 2000 have certain regional characteristics.This is specifically reflected in the following aspects:(1)Under the influence of the Bashu culture,which has both humanistic thinking and adventurous spirit,the names of southwestern China are more abundant in terms of characters,and the fonts are more distinctive.The names often show the pursuit of moral spirit and personal talents.Phonetic selection focuses on warmth and romance,syllables are more innovative and diverse,and the usage rate of four syllables is outstanding.(2)Affected by the elegant,decorous,simple,and courteous Tianzhong culture,the names in northern areas have less number of words and higher degree of similarity in glyphs.Most names imply masculinity,integrity,simplicity and happiness;phonetic selection focuses on high-pitched,passionate,and syllable arrangement is conservative,especially in the use of three-syllable names.(3)Influenced by the mysterious and romantic Jingchu culture,the glyphs in the central region are more distinctive,the use of characters is for individualization,the use of rare characters is more,and the names mostly express the expectation of indomitable struggle and elegant romance.Phonetic choice prefers high loudness,the syllable combination is more traditional,and the usage rate of two syllables is relatively high.Finally,the names of people born after 2000 have certain characteristics of the times.This is specifically manifested in the following aspects:(1)Due to the development of social economy and technology,and the improvement of the cultural literacy of the naming people,the type of name is more abundant,the shape of the font is more recognizable,the proportion of rare characters increases,the personalization of the name is more prominent,and the problem of duplicate names has been alleviated.The overall use of phonetic names is better than before.(2)The value tendency of naming changes from simple and straightforward to in-depth exploration,from traditional colors to novel and elegant,and from political perspective to return to life,which makes people born after 2000 named high frequency words,rare words,the same name form,syllable form and so on take on a brand-new look. |
