A Study Of The Language And Culture Of The Name Of Post-2000s Generation

Name is a language symbol that distinguishes the members of human society.It contains rich connotations and information.It accompanies every people’s lifetime.And it is closely related to everyone’s social life.In order to realize the current situation of the use of names,to find the problems of names,to put forward suggestions for the future use of names,and to provide reference for further in-depth research,we need to collect the real name information.Based on the theory of sociolinguistics and philology and the research content of nominology,this paper uses the quantitative and qualitative analysis method of corpus linguistics to make a quantitative and qualitative analysis on the usage of Chinese characters in the names of six cities born after 2000.According to the result of sampling data statistics,the main analysis object is the font characteristics of names,the sound and meanings of names.We can sum up the usage rule and prominent characteristic.It will provide some references for the future research on the compilation of name dictionary,name management,and information processing of names.The main content of this paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction mainly describes the basis and research status of the thesis,introduces the main content,key points,difficulties and possible innovations of the thesis,and explains the main guiding theories and research methods adopted in the thesis.The first chapter of the paper is a specific analysis of phonetic feathers of the name of the post-2000 s generation.It involves three parts: rhyme,homophony and repetition The second chapter of the thesis is the language structure of the name of the post-2000 s generation.The third chapter is the analysis of the font characteristics of the name of the post-2000 s generation.This part mainly analyzes the high frequency words,conjunctive words and rare words involved in the use of names.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the lexical semantic of the name of the post-2000 s generation.In the fifth chapter,the author analyzes and discusses the relationship between the Chinese culture and the name of the post-2000 s generation.The semantics of names can reflect Chinese traditional culture,era culture,regional culture and social psychological culture.In the conclusion part,on the basis of summing up the whole paper,the deficiencies and assumptions of the paper are briefly explained,which can be used as a reference for the further research on Chinese characters.
