Zhu He Ling Shang Shu Pi Zhuan Research

Zhu Heling is a commoner scholar with the same fame as Gu Yanwu,Huang Zongxi and others.After the Qing Dynasty,he was quite accomplished in administering the classics,and he was actually the forerunner of the Wu School of classics.Zhu Heling’s Shang Shu Pi Zhuan has always been regarded as the representative work of Shang Shu studies in the early Qing Dynasty,but the academic circles are currently less focused on this.The article attempts to return to the historical context to investigate and study Zhu Heling’s Shang Shu Pi Zhuan in order to get a glimpse of Zhu Heling’s Shang Shu study and a corner of the study of Confucian classics in the early Qing Dynasty.This article is mainly divided into three parts.The first part discusses the origin of Zhu Heling’s Shang Shu study,mainly to sort out the background of the times,Mr Zhu’s life,academic contacts,and associations.The changing times prompted Zhu Heling’s identity to change from scholar to survivor,and thus embarked on the path of governing the classics in order to preserve the Chinese culture.Mr Zhu Commoner studied scholarship,and in his life he used associations and friendships to influence and help him greatly.The Zhu family closely interacted with other survivors in their hometown,Su Zhou,and while strengthening each other,it also expanded Mr Zhu’s academic reputation and influence.With Qian Qianyi’s appreciation,the Zhu’s family was able toserve as tutor at Mao’s private school in Chang Shu and Qian’s Red Bean Villa,which solved the problem of Zhu’s survival.In addition,the collection of ancient books in the two places was precious and rare.Zhu’s dazzling literary history of The Collection of Poems of Du Gongbu has also become a success.It was also because of Gu Yanwu’s hard work Zhu that he embarked on the path of curing the Confucian classics.The exchanges between Zhu Heling and Gu Yanwu are of great benefit to Zhu’s academic road.In addition to academic exchanges,Gu’s interpersonal resources are also helpful to Mr Zhu.he third part explores Zhu Heling’s concept of Shu,sorts out and summarizes Mr Zhu’s citations in Shang Shu Pi Zhuan,the characteristics of quotations,Shang Shu theory and the value meaning of Shu Pi Zhuan.Firstly,through the sorting of citations and quantitative statistics to explore Mr Zhu’s academic tendency and the characteristics of classics.In terms of single book,Shang Shu Kong Zhuan has the most citations,followed by Shang Shu Kong Zhuan,but in terms of the total number of citations,Song and Ming Dynasties commentaries represented by Zhu Xi and Zou Jiyou are the most cited.Each takes its own strengths,supplemented by other books to confirm,it can be seen that his Shang Shu view is a combination of Han and Song Dynasties,absorbing all the strengths.Shang shu has gone to ancient times.Many records are difficult to understand.The ancient system is not clear for a long time.Geographical records are vague and lack relevant information.Natural changes of rivers are naturally very difficult for futur-e generations to interpret.Mr Zhu family did their best to understand this.Therefore,it is not forced to explain the difficult ones,and the predecessor’s comments are assigned based on the viewpoints,or refuted or the same,refer to the preparations,detailed argumentation,and the words are reasonable.It can be seen that his scholarship is rigorous and he is often suspicious.Secondly,it analyzes the Shang Shu view of Shang Shu Pi Zhuan.The discovery of Gu Wen Shang Shu is relatively late and there is a large difference in the number of articles in this article,which makes scholars doubt it.Zhu Heling believes in ancient prose,and although he has given his own explanations on the number of articles in time,there are sometimes strong arguments in it.Shang Shu Pi Zhuan has important value and significance.The first is to represent the development of the study of Confucian classics in the early Qing Dynasty,to reverse the sparse learning style of the Ming Dynasty under the aftermath of the Song Dynasty,and to supplement the simplicity of the Han and Tang Dynasties to inspire the Qianlong to Jiaqing.In the book,Zhu has quite a lot of skills in textual research and interpretation,especially in Yu Gong for dredging rivers and releasing water.The second is that Shang Shu Pi Zhuan has the merits of document preservation,and many of the books cited by it have been lost.These materials are very helpful for compiling the lost ancient books.
