A Comparative Study Of “-天/небо” Words Concept In Chinese And Russian Languages

As the main tool of human communication language is not only a complex sign system composed of three major elements:pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar,but also is the basic carrier of national culture and way of thinking.With the help of the concept research in the framework of the theory of language world view that is considered to be the mainstream of Russian academic circle we can have a deeper understanding of its basic image in the national language consciousness,the attitude of the national community towards it,as well as its position,value and influence in the national ideology and culture.The concept of "天/небо" plays an important role in the national thoughts of Chinese and Russian people.To some extent,this concept determines the characteristics of the Chinese and Russian understanding of the surrounding environment,and becomes the main basis for the formation of the worldview,vision of life and values of the two nations.Based on the different cultural backgrounds of China and Russia,the basic images of the concept of "天/небо" in the two languages have acquired some characteristics,and thus the unique 天/небо culture" in those two countries has appeared.Of course,this type of culture is also reflected in the Chinese and Russian languages,it is mainly represented by the "-天/небо" words.In this paper,based on the corpus of Chinese and Russian dictionaries,a contrastive study is made on the concept of "天/небо" in the Chinese and Russian language world view.The concept in the two languages is divided into different sememes,and these sememes are summarized into the semantic field of the concept.At the same time,the basic image of the concept in the traditional Chinese and Russian thought culture is also carried out.It reveals the national culture and thinking characteristics hidden in semantics.Through the sememe analysis method,the author analyzes the main sememes of the concept of "天/небо" in Chinese and Russian respectively,and finds out the commonness of this concept and the nationality characteristics of China and Russia in comparison.In addition,this paper also discusses the application of the concept of "天" in Chinese vocabulary and concept teaching.In this regard,the author conducts the lexical associative experiment to investigate the basic image of "天/небо" concept in the linguistic consciousness of the Chinese language learners whose native language is Russian,finds out the contact points of "天/небо”concept in the world view of the first and second language of the experiment subjects,and based on the contrastive study and experimental results mentions some teaching enlightenments of "一 天”words and concept to Russian students.
