Synonyms in Reverse Order with the Same Morpheme have similar external forms and similar meanings,which are so easy to be confused.It brings great challenges for foreign students to learn Chinese,and also causes some difficulties for teachers to teach Chinese.According to the meanings of synonyms in Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition),we selected 13 pairs of disyllabic compound synonyms in reverse order with the same morpheme and the same part of speech from The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages.Based on examples from the BCC corpus,we distinguished and analyzed 13 pairs of synonyms from three aspects which are semantics,syntax and pragmatics.Then we put forward relevant suggestions based on the characteristics of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.According to the research,we discovered that the semantic differences of synonyms in reverse order with the same morpheme are often caused by the different emphasis of morpheme meaning.Syntactically,the differences of nominal synonyms mainly lay in the predicate and attributive.The differences of verbal synonyms lay in whether they have the same object,complement and dynamic auxiliary.The differences of adjective synonyms and adverbial synonyms lay in whether they can be used as adverbial,complement,part of speech and can be used for a fixed phrase.In terms of pragmatics,we mainly study the color of spoken language and written language from the perspective of style.Written language also includes literary style,scientific style and so on.Finally,through the research on the differences of synonyms in reverse order with the same morpheme,we think that teachers should attend to concentrate on the cultivation of students’ learning consciousness,the explanation of morpheme meaning in daily teaching,the comparative teaching of new and old knowledge points,and teaching in context. |
