Research On Female Role Dance Performance In New Edition Of Ancient Costume Drama Of Puxian Opera

Puxian Opera,formerly known as Xinghua Opera,originated from a sort of folk culture in Tang Dynasty——BaiXi.It has been formed in Song Dynasty and flourished in Ming and Qing.So Puxian Opera is one of the oldest opera types in China,and is also known as "the living fossil of Southern Opera in Song and Yuan Dynasties".Since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China,the traditional Puxian Opera has made some explorations and adaptions in order to cater the diversified aesthetic needs of modern audiences,which can also promote the modernization of traditional Chinese Opera.In recent years,the dance performance in the new edition of ancient costume drama has taken on a certain new form to catch the trend.This dissertation attempts to analyze the dance inheritance and contemporary exploration of female characters in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera.Furthermore,it tries to refine and summarize the contemporary dance innovative orientation in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera under the code concept of"keeping integrity and innovating".The first chapter is a basic overview of Puxian Opera,which helps to grasp the main concept of Puxian Opera from two aspects,historical origin and regional characteristics.It also discusses the cultural background and achievements of in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera in modern society.The second chapter is about the morphological characteristics of traditional dance performances in Puxian Opera.By discussing the basic,combined and stylized action of the dance performance in Puxian Opera,this charter tries to grasp the morphological characteristics of the traditional dance performance in Puxian Opera.The third chapter mainly discusses the inheritance of female role dance performance in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera.This chapter further clarify the inheritance of female role dance performance from the unique style of traditional dance performances,such as "standardization and flexibility","life logic and artistic beauty" and "KuiLeiJie".The forth chapter is about the innovative exploration of dance performance of female role in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera.By analyzing the innovation of dance performance of female role in Consort Mei of Tang Dynasty and Treading Umbrella,which are the outstanding plays of new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera,their two major modern trends," enhancing visual attraction" and" strengthening emotional transmission",can be found in their performance.The last chapter is about the contemporary orientation of female role dance performance in new edition of ancient costume Puxian Opera.Based on the previous analysis of the inheritance and development of female role dance performance,it refines its contemporary new features of "simplicity and elegance","combination of singing and dancing" and "constructing realm by emotion".
