The Relationship Between Dance Image And Dance Costume

I choose ballet Qiuju legend as my graduation practice, and has experienced the whole process from art collecting to creation and then to the implementation of this project. It is the most direct, and the most professional inspection for my four years of undergraduate and three years of graduate study. Therefore, based on the premise of understanding the images of dance artistic and the effect chart of dancing costume, I have analyzed and discussed the correlation between dancing images and costume effects during the stage of effect chart creation and the stage of costumes production by extracting the facts from ballet Qiu Ju Legend. During creation of costume’s effect chart in ballet Qiu Ju Legend, I have stated with examples from four main aspects, characters, story, dance movements, and other references. While shaping the dancing images of ballet Qiu Ju Legend, I have explained by comparing the differences among production of costumes by following the guideline of effect chart, dancing image and effect chart itself. The accumulated data of dancing images have stimulated the creation of costumes’ effect chart, and meanwhile, the effect chart of costumes have helped creating new dancing images. And that’s what we defined as the process of costume designing, also known as the process of transiting the imagination into reality. Based on the combination of theoretical and practical study, I have analyzed how dancing image affects the creation of costume effect charts, and how costume effect charts affects the shaping of dancing images. From the study, I have comprehended the complicate correlation between dancing images and costumes effect chart, and how both were penetrated and affected with each other. It has a very practical guidance to improve my personal and profession accomplishments.
