Peng Dingqiu was an important writer in the literary world during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty,as well as a key figure in the Peng family,a prominent cultural family in Suzhou.He was deeply influenced by Taoism all his life,and his poetry and prose creation was also infiltrated by Taoist thoughts.In the creation of poems and articles have outstanding achievements,a lot of works.This paper mainly investigates Peng Dingqiu’s literary creation,as well as Peng Dingqiu’s family background,life and friends.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the reason of this topic,summarizes and sorts out the previous scholars’ research results on Peng Dingqiu,discusses the significance of Peng Dingqiu’s literature research,and puts forward the development space and research methods of this paper on this basis.The first chapter discusses Peng Dingqiu’s life,family background and teachers and friends.Peng Dingqiu was born in the Peng family,a famous family who passed down the imperial examination in Suzhou,Jiangsu Province.He learned from his grandfather Peng Dexian,his father Peng Long,as well as famous teachers in regions south of the Yangtze River such as Gu Yuxian,Lu Zaixin and Wu Yu,etc.His temperament,knowledge and hobbies were all influenced by these influences,which laid a solid foundation for his future achievements.In the 15th year of Kangxi’s reign(1676),he became the first Scholars in the First Class.In the autumn of the 33rd year of Kangxi’s reign(1694),he retired and returned to his hometown.He had a wide range of friends throughout his life,and had close contacts with many scholars and scholars during the reign of Emperor Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty.He discussed much about learning and writing.After returning home in his later years,he had several close friends in his late years.The second chapter discusses the influence of Taoist thoughts on Peng Dingqiu’s literary creation.Peng Dingqiu was influenced by his family and believed in Taoism when he was young.He also had close friendship with Taoist priest Shi Daoyuan,which had a deep influence on his poetry and prose creation.The content of his poems often describes the daily Taoist practice activities and Taoist immortals’fairyland and other Taoist images.His articles also often depict the real Taoist immortals,write notes for the temple building of Taoism,preface and postscript to Taoist books,etc.Under the influence of Taoism,the style of poetry tends to be plain and elegant.The style of the article is more solemn and elegant,and the sense is strong.The third chapter discusses Peng Dingqiu’s poetry creation.According to the content of his poems,Peng Dingqiu’s poems can be divided into chronicle poems,wandering poems,social singing and poems.His poems are good at using lines,allusions,characters and other ways to create a bleak poetic environment.Through Peng Dingqiu’s poems,we can have a glimpse of his spiritual world and views on life.The fourth chapter discusses Peng Dingqiu’s article creation.Peng Dingqiu’s articles are quite numerous and rich in content,among which the preface,the text of the body and the text of the body are the most characteristic.The preamble mainly elucidates the concept of poetry and prose.The language of the preamble is simple and simple,and the emotion is simple and sincere,which shapes the distinct personality of the preamble.Architectural notes brief and concise,vivid and elegant,quite amorous feelings.The conclusion part analyzes and summarizes Peng Dingqiu’s position in literary history.This paper analyzes Peng Dingqiu’s achievements and contributions in the literary world and gives an objective evaluation and orientation to his position in the history of literature.
