| "Zhou wu wang you ji zhou gong suo zi yi dai wang zhi zhi" is roughly similar to Jinteng,which is one of the chapters included in the received modern-script version of Shangshu.But there are still some differences in key passages and sentences.This article is the only one that can be completely compared with the received version of Shangshu,and it is of great value to discuss the formation and circulation of both Jinteng and Shangshu.Guided by the theory of double evidence,this paper combines the methods in philology and paleography to make textual interpretation and monographic research on the manuscript.The collation part of this paper consists of proofreading of the bamboo-strip manuscript,explanation of characters and words,and reinterpretation of sentences in doubt.Representative opinions of scholars are listed in a comprehensive way,and then personal notes follow behand.The commentaries are either selected from the good,or supplement and revise the scholars’ opinions,or compare the similarities and differences between the received version and the bamboo slips.Some difficult problems are combed and several opinions are put forward in the research part of this paper.It includes the number of years in the reign of King Wu of Zhou after beating the Shang Dynasty,the investigation of "mu bu",the discrimination of "bei zi zhi ze"," "pi zi zhi ze" and "fu zi zhi ze",the different titles between bamboo slips and the received edition,and the absence of "nai bu san gui…""wang yi ri nai chou" in bamboo slips.Through the discussion of the above,the author agrees that the bamboo slips and the received version are two texts belonging to the same origin and different stream,which was proposed by some scholars.The two texts are the same in the motif and development context of the story,and the difference may be caused by the addition,deletion and rewriting of the two texts during their transmission.In the process of circulation,two texts formed a self-sufficient text system,and no traces of mutual influence were found.Scholars believe that bamboo slips belong to the textbooks used by the nobles of Chu.The author thinks that this view is reasonable and provides deeper insights in the discussion of the nature of the text. |
