Worship God And Return

The belief of Taishan granny takes Taishan as the center and spreads all over the surrounding provinces.Taishan granny,also known as Taishan granny,Taishan virgin,Taishan empress,Taishan mother,fairy virgin,academic researchers called bixia yuanjun,all known as "dongyue Taishan fairy jade daughter bixia yuanjun",the Lord gave birth,in the folk is shaped into a universal god.The villagers of Dashiqiao Village call Bixia Yuanjun Taishan Grandma,and generally call it grandma directly.Few villagers know that the title of Taishan Grandma is Bixia Yuanjun.In the local legends and rituals about Bixia Yuanjun,they are all Taishan grandmothers.In this study,the author respects the local customs and beliefs and the appellation habits of the local people.In this article,the author also follows the local customs and calls Bixia Yuanjun Taishan grandmothers.This paper takes the belief of Taishan granny as the research object,selects Dashiqiao Village,Sunbo Town,Feicheng City,Tai ’an City,Shandong Province,a typical village where the belief of Taishan granny is well preserved,as the field point,and uses the religious compensation theory of religion theory,sociological questionnaire survey method,ethnology and anthropology field survey method to study the current situation of belief of Taishan granny in Dashiqiao Village.The author uses ethnography to record the current situation of the belief of Taishan granny in Dashiqiao village from the perspectives of sacred space temples,apparition legends,ritual activities,temple fair activities and believers of belief subjects.the author makes a questionnaire survey and basic data analysis on the belief motivation,belief behavior and belief attitude of some interviewees in different age groups,different gender,different family annual income,different educational level and different occupation conditions of the village.Through the interactive process between Dashiqiao village and Taishan granny,this paper reveals the reason why Dashiqiao village villagers still worship Taishan granny,and further explores the relationship between man and god,hoping to accumulate some experience for future researchers.This study holds that the interaction process between villagers and Taishan grannyshows the mutual compensation relationship of "worship and reward" between people and gods.In the belief concept and ritual practice,the villagers in Dashiqiao village are full of admiration for the god Taishan granny they believe in.the rewards caused by the worship ceremony are mutual.the first is the response of the gods to the worship ceremony of the believers after people worship the gods,and the second is the recognition and enhancement of the religiousness of the gods after people give the spiritual protection to the gods.As a result,human beings and gods are not only mutually beneficial,but are interdependent,complementary and blend with each other.In addition,the belief in gods not only provides some psychological comfort and spiritual support as compensation for believers,but also provides cultural compensation for believers.Of course,the negative effects of folk beliefs need to be overcome and guided.
