Research On Xi Jinping’s Important Discourse On Building A Community Of Common Health For Mankind

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic,some countries have been passive in preventing and controlling epidemic,leaving their own epidemic unattended,making accusations against other countries,lacking sense of cooperation,and affecting the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control.The World Health Organization has not yet played its proper role in the prevention and control of the epidemic,and the shortcomings of the global public health governance system have been exposed.In the face of the dilemma of international cooperation in epidemic prevention and control,the Human Health Community initiative provides direction and conceptual support for the global fight against epidemic.Based on the prevention and control of COVID-19,this study takes Xi Jinping’s important discourse on community of health for mankind as the research object,and systematically grasps its logic,connotation,essence,practice and value of the times.The study is divided into four parts:The first part analyses the introduction of important initiatives in the human health community,including its background,rationale and practical basis.Global public health security has been seriously threatened by the combination of the great change of century and the COVID-19 pandemic.The domestic epidemic prevention and control situation is complex and volatile,epidemic prevention and control policies and measures are flexibly adjusted in response to changes in the situation.Marxist community theory and world history theory,traditional Chinese concept of life and idea of commonwealth,the medical and health care ideas of successive generations of Party leaders and the concept of the community with a shared future for mankind are its theoretical basis.The promotion and implementation of the Healthy China Strategy,the Silk Road to health,and the practice of international cooperation in combating epidemic are practical foundations.The second part summarizes its core ideas and theoretical qualities.Explaining its core ideas in five aspects: values,basic paths,institutional safeguards,important concerns and fundamental purposes.Summarizing the theoretical characteristics of upholding the primacy of life,adhering to the world,strengthening strategic thinking,carrying forward the spirit of struggle,and demonstrating the responsibility of a major country.The third part discusses the practical solutions,obstacles and strategies for building a human health community.The practical solutions are proposed in three dimensions: concept,mechanism and pattern.The practical obstacles are analyzed,including differences in value recognition,politicization of public health issues,inadequate public health cooperation,and imperfect institutional systems for global public health governance.The fourth part elaborates on its value at both theoretical and practical levels.Theoretically,it deepens the understanding of link between life and ecological safety,expands connotation of human community with a shared future,and promotes the innovative development of the concept of global public health governance.Practically,it helps strengthening international cooperation in the prevention and control of COVID-19,promotes global public health governance system,and facilitates the collaborative construction of the community.Initiative of the human health community responds to the realistic needs of epidemic prevention and control,aims to promote global cooperation in combating epidemic and pool the combined efforts to overcome epidemic as soon as possible.Xi Jinping’s advocacy of building a human health community to safeguard human health and well-being is in line with the common interests of mankind,it will certainly gain the support and recognition of more countries and provide strategic guidance for improving global public health governance.
