| Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy of parallel pair prickly meridian tendon method in the treatment of facial paralysis with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis,to summarize its clinical characteristics and advantages,and to preliminarily form a characteristic technology and method for the treatment of facial paralysis by parallel pair thorn tendon method,so as to provide a basis and ideas for the clinical application and research of acupuncture in the treatment of facial paralysis.Methods:The 62 patients with facial paralysis who met the inclusion criteria who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the outpatient clinic of acupuncture pain department of the Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine from April 2021~November 2022,and were divided into conventional acupuncture group and parallel pair of meridian tendon group,31 cases in conventional acupuncture group and 31 cases in parallel acupuncture Jingjin group.In the conventional acupuncture group,Yangbai Point(Normal side),Quanliao Acupoint(Normal side),Jiache Point(Normal side),Dicang Acupoint,Yifeng Acupoint(Normal side),Hegu Acupoint(Diseased side),Zu Sanli Point(double),Sanyin jiao Point(double),Xuehai Point(double),and Qihai Acupoint were selected as the main acupoints;If the patient’s middle sulcus is crooked,it is equipped with Shuigou point,the nasolabial groove is shallow,it is equipped with Yingxiang point,the chin lip groove is crooked,it is equipped with Chengjiang point,the tongue numbness or taste loss is equipped with Lianquan point,the difficulty of closing eyes is equipped with Cuanzhu point and Kunlun point,tear is equipped with Chengqi point,and with hearing allergy is equipped with Tinggong point and Zhongzhu point.A total of3 times a week,1 treatment every other day,each time the needle is left for 30 min,for a total of 4 weeks.On the basis of the selection of acupoints in the conventional acupuncture group,three groups of parallel pairs of acupoints were added: respectively,the frontal group,pair 1(Cuanzhu Acupoint,Sizhukong Acupoint),pair 2(inner canth,1 inch above eyebrows,flat Yangbai Acupoint;Straight canthus outward,1 inch above eyebrows,flat Yangbai Acupoint);Pair 3(the inner canthus is straight up,the eyebrow is 3 inches,the outer canthus is straight,the eyebrow is 3 inches).Noodle group: pair 1(Yingxiang Acupoint,Jingming Acupoint).Mouth corner group,pair 1(Kouheliao Acupoint,Juliao Acupoint);Pair 2(Dicang Acupoint,Jiache Acupoint).Each pair of the above acupuncture points was pricked in parallel,treated 3 times a week,1 treatment every other day,and each needle was left for 30 min for a total of 4 weeks.The effects of facial motor function,facial muscle strength and facial nerve function injury on the physical function of patients with facial paralysis were evaluated by using the The Facial Disability Index of Physical function scale(FDIP)in the House-Brackmann grading scale and The Facial Disability Index of Physical function scale(FDIP)on the physical function of patients.The Facial Disability Index of social function scale(FDIS)on The Facial Disability Index(FDI)measures the impact of psychosocial factors in patients with facial paralysis.TCM syndrome score evaluate the changes of TCM syndrome;The overall efficacy and differences between the two groups were compared according to the degree of improvement of HouseBrackmann grading scale.Results:(1)Overall efficacy comparisonIn the conventional acupuncture group,6 cases were cured,14 cases were obvious,7 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 87.09%.In the parallel counteracupuncture Jingjin group,8 cases were cured,18 cases were effective,2 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 90.32%.The total effective rate of the parallel acupuncture group was comparable to that of the conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of H-B facial nerve function level(1)Intra-group comparison: Compared with before treatment,H-B facial nerve function grade was significantly decreased in both parallel and conventional acupuncture group after treatment(P<0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: Before treatment,there was no difference in H-B facial nerve function level between parallel acupuncture and conventional acupuncture(P>0.05);Compared with the two groups after treatment,the improvement of grade IV,grade V moderate and severe facial nerve dysfunction in the parallel acupuncture group was better than that in the conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).(3)FDI score comparison(1)Intra-group comparison: Compared with before treatment,FDIP increased and FDIS decreased in the parallel pair perforation group and conventional acupuncture group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: Before treatment,there was no difference in FDIP and FIS scores between the parallel pair of meridian tendon and the conventional acupuncture group(P>0.05);compared with the two groups after treatment,the FDIP increase and FDIS score reduction of the parallel pair of the meridian tendon group were better than those of the conventional acupuncture group,and the FDIP and FDIS sub-items were further compared,and the parallel pair of meridian tendon prick group was better than the conventional acupuncture group in improving "eating" and "insomnia",(P<0.05).(4)Comparison of TCM syndrome pointsCompared with before treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome in both the parallel acupuncture Jingjin group and the conventional acupuncture group decreased after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both the conventional acupuncture and the parallel acupuncture Jingjin group could improve the manifestations of Qi deficiency and blood stasis.Conclusion:Parallel acupuncture has good clinical effect on Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type facial paralysis,and can significantly improve facial nerve function,body and social life function of patients with facial paralysis.However,parallel acupuncture was superior to conventional acupuncture group in cure rate,improvement of moderate and severe facial nerve dysfunction,improvement of "eating" in body function and "insomnia degree" in social life function. |
