| Objective: To explore the cognitive function differences of different dietary structures in non-cognitive dysfunction population(that is,patients who have not been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in our hospital),and the relationship between different dietary structures and cerebrospinal fluid Aβ,Ttau, and Ptau Sex,and through genetic detection of APOE4,to verify the impact of carnivorism(high-fat diet)on cognitive function,to provide a new research direction for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Methods: From December 2019 to December 2022,patients who were not diagnosed with AD admitted to the Neurology Department of xx Hospital were selected.A total of674 cases met the requirements of this study and had complete medical records. The patients were divided into three groups: common diet group, vegetarian group, and carnivore group.Collect general data of patients.Cognitive function assessment was performed on the patients using the Chinese version of the Mini-Mental State Examination and the Chinese version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. The contents of Aβ42,Aβ40,Ttau,and Ptau in the cerebrospinal fluid of the patients were measured, and the APOE4 genotype was detected. Results: Diet structure was an influencing factor of cognitive function in non-cognitive dysfunction population(P<0.05).The results of MMSE and Mo CA in the normal diet group were higher than those in the meat-eating and vegetarian groups(P<0.05).The contents of Aβ42,Aβ40,Ttau and Ptau in the cerebrospinal fluid of the normal diet group were lower than those of the meat-eating and vegetarian groups(P<0.05).The proportion of APOE4 gene-positive patients in the normal diet group was lower than that in the meat-eating and vegetarian groups(P<0.001).Conclusion: Diet structure is an influencing factor of cognitive function in non-cognitive dysfunction population.Compared with carnivorism and vegetarianism, common diet may improve the cognitive function of people without cognitive impairment. Therefore,we infer that ordinary diet may have a certain inhibitory effect on the decline of cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer’s disease, but a larger sample size and more in-depth research are still needed to prove it. |
