| ObjectiveTo explore the effect of IMB model combined with Teach-back intervention on limb function, disease knowledge, attitude and functional exercise compliance in patients with ischemic stroke;it provides theoretical support and clinical practice guidance for further promoting the rehabilitation of limb function in patients with ischemic stroke.MethodsAccording to the convenience sampling method, patients with ischemic stroke in the Department of Neurology of a third-grade hospital in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from March to October 2022 were selected as the research objects according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.According to the order of hospitalization, the random number table was used for random grouping, and the subjects who fell off during the study were excluded.Finally,80 subjects were studied,40 in the experimental group and 40 in the control group. The control group received routine nursing intervention and discharge follow-up for ischemic stroke. The experimental group implemented the IMB model combined with Teach-back nursing intervention program on the basis of the control group. This study lasted for three months. The Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale was used to evaluate before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention. The knowledge and attitude questionnaire of stroke patients was evaluated before and 3 months after intervention. The functional exercise compliance questionnaire of stroke patients was evaluated at discharge and 3 months after intervention, and the intervention effect was discussed and analyzed.ResultsBefore intervention, there was no significant difference in Fugl-Meyer motor function score between the two groups(P > 0.05).After 1 month and 3 months of intervention, the FuglMeyer motor function score of the experimental group increased with time, and the Fugl-Meyer motor function score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001);There was no significant difference in the scores of disease knowledge and attitude between the two groups before intervention(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the functional exercise compliance score of patients at discharge(P>0.05).After 3 months of intervention, the scores of disease knowledge, attitude and functional exercise compliance in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionThrough the implementation of IMB model combined with Teach-back intervention program for patients with limb dysfunction after ischemic stroke, the patient ’s cognition and attitude towards the disease have been improved and changed、the compliance of the patient ’s functional exercise has been improved、the patient ’s limb function has been effectively rehabilitated. It also provides a reference for the rehabilitation of limb function in patients with ischemic stroke in clinical practice. |
