| Non-suicidal self-injury,as a potential predictor of suicide,is gradually gaining attention.Adolescents and patients with mental disorders are a high incidence group of non-suicidal self-injury,which are causing harm to their lives and health. Objective: To provide an effective tool for evaluating non-suicidal self-injury and an effective intervention program for non-suicidal self-injury,improve the efficiency of evaluation of non-suicidal self-injury,reduce the willingness of clinical patients with mental disorders to engage in non-suicidal self-injury,and enrich research on nonsuicidal self-injury.Methods: Study 1 was a scale revision study.A total of 546 patients with clinical mental disorders at the Jiangxi Mental Health Center were selected as the study subjects, including 88 males and 458 females. The ISAS scale was translated into Chinese, and data were collected using the ISAS scale,FASM scale,PHQ-9 scale, and GAD-7 scale. The functional part of the ISAS scale was simplified and verified its reliability and validity. The relationship between non-suicidal self-injury,depression,and anxiety was explored;Study 2 was an intervention experimental study.Taking depression patients from the Department of Psychology of Jiangxi Mental Health Center as the research object(10 in the experimental group and 9 in the control group, with no significant difference in the pretest between the two groups),the experimental group was intervened with group MBCT training. The data of the experimental group and the control group were collected before and after the intervention using the simplified ISAS scale, personal interview questionnaire,PHQ-9,GAD-7,and CAMS-R.The results were as follows:(1)The number of non-suicidal self-injury was positively correlated with PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores;(2)The reliability and validity of the simplified ISAS scale are within an acceptable range. The functional part includes three dimensions: alleviate negative feeling, regulate interpersonal relationship, and induce positive feeling(which can be divided in to self-induction and sensationinduction);(3)There were significant differences between the pretest and posttest within the experimental group. The posttest self-injury intention, depression, and anxiety in the experimental group were lower than those in the pretest, while the posttest mindfulness level in the experimental group was higher than that in the posttest; There was no significant difference between the pretest and posttest within the control group, while there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the posttest. The experimental group had lower levels of self-injury intention, depression, and anxiety compared to the control group.Conclusions:1.The number of non-suicidal self-injury is positively correlated with the degree of depression and anxiety. The more severe depression and anxiety, the more frequent non-suicidal self-injury are.2.The short form ISAS scale has good reliability and validity,is short and efficient, and has comprehensive functions. It can be promoted as a measurement tool for nonsuicidal self-injury in a wider population.3.Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy can effectively reduce the willingness of people to engage in non-suicidal self-injury,alleviate their depression and anxiety, and promote their physical and mental health development. |
