Objective: To investigate and analyze nurses in a medical group in Jilin Province,and to evaluate the status quo of health literacy of nurses in this medical group and its influencing factors as well as the path relationship among various dimensions of health literacy,so as to provide reference for improving the level of health literacy of nurses and carrying out health education and health promotion.Methods: Nurses were investigated by questionnaire survey.Descriptive analysis,Logistic regression and Chi-square test were used to analyze the status quo and main influencing factors of nurses’ health literacy,and the mediating effect was used to explore the route relationship between different dimensions of health literacy.Results:1.The overall health literacy rate of nurses in a medical group in Jilin Province was 45.6%,and the levels of basic knowledge and concept literacy,basic skills literacy,healthy lifestyle literacy and behavior literacy were 65.3%,35.7% and 34.6%,respectively.2.Nurses with higher professional titles and better self-rated health status have a higher rate of health literacy.The higher the level of education,professional title,self-rated health status and healthy lifestyle,the higher the rate of nurses’ behavioral literacy and basic skills literacy.3.Basic skills have a mediating effect between basic knowledge and ideas and healthy lifestyle,with indirect effect of 0.182(95%CI: 0.153 ~ 0.214).In the whole model,indirect effect accounts for 28.9% of the total effect,and direct effect is71.1%.Conclusion:1.The health literacy level of nurses in a medical group in Jilin Province(45.6%)needs to be further improved.2.Nurses of a medical group in Jilin Province have not been able to transform their basic knowledge,concepts and skills into behaviors and lifestyles.3.Among the six types of health literacy of nurses in a medical group in Jilin province,the top two are safety and first aid and scientific health concept literacy,while the chronic disease prevention and treatment literacy and basic medical literacy are relatively low.4.Professional title and self-rated health status are influencing factors of overall health literacy,basic knowledge and concept literacy;professional title and educational level are influencing factors of healthy lifestyle and behavior literacy;professional title,self-rated health status and working years are influencing factors of basic skill literacy.5.Healthy lifestyle and behavioral literacy mediate the influence of basic knowledge and idea literacy on basic skill literacy.
