Clinical Observation Of Dihuang Elimination Purple Decoction In The Treatment Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome Of Hen?ch-sch?nlein Purpura Nephritis In Children

Objective:To make an objective evaluation of the clinical efficacy and safety of Dihuang elimination purple decoction in the treatment of children with Hen?ch-sch?nlein purpura nephritis due to deficiency of liver and kidney yin,and to provide the reference frame of Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease.Methods:55 children who met the inclusion criteria were treated for 12 weeks with Dihuang elimination purple decoction in a before-and-after control method.The clinical efficacy of Dihuang elimination purple decoction in treating children with Hen?ch-sch?nlein purpura nephritis with liver and kidney yin deficiency was evaluated by observing and analyzing the changes in the TCM syndrome score,urine red blood cell count,urine occult blood,urine microalbumin,24-hour urine protein quantification and urine microalbumin to urine creatinine ratio before,after 4 weeks,after 8 weeks and after12 weeks of treatment.The safety of Dihuang elimination purple decoction was also evaluated by analyzing the children’s blood count,liver and kidney function before and after treatment.The clinical efficacy of Dihuang elimination purple decoction in treating children with Hen?ch-sch?nlein purpura nephritis with liver and kidney yin deficiency was evaluated.Results:A total of 55 cases meeting the criteria were included in this study,of which 2were dislodged and 1 was excluded,resulting in 52 cases actually completed,as follows.1.Comparison of efficacy evaluation: The efficacy of the children was evaluated after4 weeks of treatment,8 weeks of treatment and 12 weeks of treatment respectively,and the results showed that the total effective rate of the disease was 71.1%,84.6% and 86.5% in order,and the total effective rate of the TCM symptoms was 53.8%,86.5% and 94.2% in order.2.Comparison of TCM symptom scores: After treatment,the total TCM symptom scores,the total TCM main symptom scores and the total TCM secondary symptom scores all decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The points of each symptom of TCM main symptoms(purpura of the skin and fever of the hands and feet)and TCM secondary symptoms(soreness of the waist and knees,dry mouth and tongue,night sweating,restless sleep at night and dry stools)all decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of laboratory indicators: After treatment,the values of urine red blood cell count,urine occult blood,urine microalbumin,24-hour urine protein quantification and urine microalbumin to urine creatinine ratio all decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Safety evaluation: During the treatment period,no adverse reactions were observed in any of the children,indicating that Dihuang elimination purple decoction is safe in treating children with Hen?ch-sch?nlein purpura nephritis with liver and kidney yin deficiency.Conclusion:Dihuang elimination purple decoction is effective in treating children with Hen?ch-sch?nlein purpura nephritis due to deficiency of liver and kidney yin,reducing clinical symptoms and reducing haematuria and proteinuria in children without adverse effects.
