Objective: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome(PFPS)is a common knee injury disease in ice hockey sports, which seriously affects athletes’ athletic ability and performance. The traditional clinical quadriceps muscle training method is not effective, and is prone to repeated episodes and delay the disease. In this study, the clinical efficacy of PFPS hockey players was observed by comparing zheng’s massage with hip and knee combined muscle strength training and combined treatment, providing a new theoretical basis and ideas for the treatment and prevention of PFPS among athletes in the future. Methods: A total of 24 athletes with PFPS were selected from the national men’s Ice hockey intensive team and randomly divided into Zheng’s massage group, muscle strength training group and combined therapy group, with 8 participants in each group. The experimental subjects were treated 3 times a week for 12 weeks.VAS pain scores,Lysholm knee dysfunction Scale scores,Q Angle scores and Y balance scores of PFPS patients were observed and recorded before treatment,6 weeks after treatment and 12 weeks after treatment.Results:1.(1)At baseline level, there were no significant differences in age, height, weight, training years, sick knee,VAS pain score,Lysholm knee function scale score,Q Angle and Y balance test among the three groups(P > 0.05),indicating comparability.(2)Comparison of VAS pain rating between groups showed that the scores of group M were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05);The scores of group E were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05);The scores of group A were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12weeks(P < 0.05);The comparison between groups showed that there were significant differences between group E and group A at the 12 th week of intervention(P < 0.05).(3)Intra-group comparison of Lysholm knee dysfunction scale showed that the score of M was significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks(P < 0.05);The scores of group E were significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks(P < 0.05);The scores of group A were significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P <0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks(P < 0.05);The comparison between the three groups showed no statistical significance(P > 0.05).(4)The intra-group comparison of Q Angle showed that the scores of the M group were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between the 6th and 12 th week(P < 0.05);The scores of group E were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks(P < 0.05);The scores of group A were significantly decreased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P <0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks(P < 0.05);The comparison between the three groups showed no statistical significance(P > 0.05).(5)The intra-group comparison of Y balance test showed that the values of group M were significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05);The values of group E were significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P <0.05);The values of group A were significantly increased after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention(P < 0.05),and there was also a significant difference between the 6th and12 th week(P < 0.05);The comparison between groups showed that at the 12 th week of intervention, there were significant differences between group M and group E and group A(P < 0.05),and there were also significant differences between group E and group A(P < 0.05).Conclusions:(1)Zheng’s massage manipulation, resistance training and Zheng’s massage combined with resistance training have different therapeutic effects in improving pain symptoms, knee daily dysfunction, lower limb biological force line and lower limb dynamic balance stability of PFPS athletes.(2)The effect of Zheng’s massage combined with resistance training on the long-term improvement of pain symptoms in PFPS athletes was significantly better than resistance training alone; The long-term effect of improving the stability of lower limb dynamic balance in PFPS athletes was significantly better than that of Zheng’s massage and resistance training alone.(3)Zheng’s massage combined with resistance training has better overall effect on PFPS athletes.
