Clinical Analysis Of Duct Carcinoma Of Salivary Gland Based On SEER Database

Objective:Using SEER(Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results),National Cancer Institute Database,the clinicopathologic data of patients with SDC were screened,and the prognostic risk factors were analyzed statistically.Methods:Data of patients diagnosed with SDC from 1975 to 2019 were extracted from SEER database and analyzed retrospectively.Cancer-specific survival(CSS)and overall survival(OS)were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method.Univariate and multivariate Cox regression models were applied for analysis of prognostic related factors.Results:A total of 251 patients with salivary gland duct carcinoma were included.The univariate COX regression analysis of patients with salivary duct carcinoma showed that histological grade and SEER tumor stage were important clinicopathologic factors affecting the specific survival period of patients;Age,histological grade and SEER tumor stage are important clinicopathologic factors affecting the overall survival of patients.Multivariate COX regression analysis showed that age and SEER tumor stage were independent prognostic factors affecting the overall survival of patients.Conclusion:1.Age,sex,site of disease,histological grade of tumor,SEER tumor stage and treatment plan are the clinicopathologic factors affecting SDC patients.2.Age,location,histological grade and SEER tumor stage are risk factors for salivary duct carcinoma.3.The histological grade and SEER tumor stage were correlated with the specific survival rate of salivary duct carcinoma;Age,histological grade and tumor stage were correlated with the overall survival rate of salivary duct carcinoma.4.Age and tumor stage are independent prognostic factors affecting the overall survival rate of patients.
