| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction in treating bronchial asthma in the acute attack stage(phlegm heat combined with blood stasis syndrome)and the influence on TCM syndrome score,onset effect of asthma relief and symptom disappearance time,ACT score,peripheral blood EOS and serum TNF-αlevels,lung function index PEF.Methods: A total of 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the respiratory Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 35 patients in each group.The control group was given Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation,and the treatment group was additionally given Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction,a traditional Chinese medicine decoction,based on the control group.Both groups were observed for 2 courses of medication,a total of 14 days.The TCM single syndrome score,total score,curative effect,the onset of asthma relief and symptom disappearance time,ACT score,peripheral blood EOS and serum TNF-α levels,and lung function index PEF before and after treatment were observed and recorded in the two groups.SPSS26.0 software was used to compare and analyze the data.Results:1.Both groups could improve patients’ symptoms and reduce TCM syndrome scores,and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in the manifestations of shortness of breath or chest tightness,phlegm volume,thirst,and preference for cold drinks,constipation,and blood stasis(P<0.05).2.Both groups had a significant curative effect,and the significant efficiency of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.The time of onset of asthma and symptom disappearance in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Both groups improved ACT scores,and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).5.The levels of peripheral blood EOS and serum TNF-α were decreased in both groups,and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).6.The PEF level of lung function was improved in both groups,and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).7.No abnormal safety indexes were found in the two groups before and after treatment,and no adverse reactions occurred during treatment.Conclusion:1.Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine and ACT scores of patients with bronchial asthma in the acute attack stage(phlegm heat combined with blood stasis syndrome),and shorten the time required for the onset of asthma relief and the disappearance of symptoms.2.Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction can reduce the level of peripheral blood EOS and serum TNF-α in patients with an acute attack of bronchial asthma(phlegm heat combined with blood stasis syndrome).3.Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction can effectively improve the level of lung function PEF in patients with bronchial asthma during an acute attack(phlegm heat combined with blood stasis syndrome).4.Qingfei Xiaoyu Decoction has a significant clinical effect and good safety in the treatment of bronchial asthma in the acute attack stage(phlegm heat combined with blood stasis syndrome). |
