Objective: Osteoporosis is a major disease burden in the world. With the intensification of population aging, the number of osteoporosis patients is increasing gradually.Osteoporosis has become a widespread public health problem worldwide. The purpose of this study is to study the prevalence of osteoporosis and the influencing factors of osteoporosis in the elderly aged 65 and over in some communities of Lu’an City,so as to provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in the elderly. Methods: Four communities,Baisheng,Gaoyao,Sannvtun and Lixin Village,Jin’an District,Lu’an City, were selected from January 2021 to December 2021.The osteoporosis related questionnaire survey, physical examination and blood biochemical indicators were carried out for the elderly aged over 65 years old.The calcaneal bone mineral density was measured by ultrasonic bone densitometer in 294 elderly people who met the inclusion criteria.SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical description and analysis. The related variables of primary osteoporosis were first subjected to single-factor chi-square test and t-test,and then all statistically significant factors were included in the Logistic regression model to explore the relationship between each influencing factor and osteoporosis. Results: 1.Among the 294 elderly people over 65 years old included in this study, the prevalence rate of osteoporosis was 48.20%,of which the prevalence rate of male osteoporosis was 24.24%,and the prevalence rate of female osteoporosis was 58.64%.2.Single factor analysis showed that in the elderly male study population, different age, exercise frequency, sun exposure time, milk consumption, calcium tablets and BMI had statistically significant effects on OP prevalence. In the elderly female study population, the influence of different age, exercise frequency, sun exposure time, milk consumption, calcium tablets, diabetes history, hormone history,BMI,FPG on OP has statistical significance. In the study population, the influence of different gender, age, exercise frequency, sun exposure time, milk consumption, calcium tablets, diabetes history, hormone history,BMI,FPG on OP was statistically significant.3.The statistically significant variables in the univariate analysis were included in the multivariate logistic regression model. The results showed that age, exercise frequency, sun exposure time, milk consumption, calcium tablets and BMI were the influencing factors of male OP.Age,consumption of milk, taking calcium tablets, history of diabetes, history of hormone taking,BMI,FPG are the influencing factors of female OP.Gender, age, exercise frequency, sunshine time, consumption of milk, taking calcium tablets, history of diabetes, history of hormone taking,BMI,FPG are the influencing factors of OP in the elderly. Conclusions: 1.Among the 294 elderly people in some communities of Lu’an City, the prevalence of osteoporosis is 48.20%;The prevalence rate of osteoporosis in men was24.24%,and that in women was 58.64%.2.Gender,age,exercise frequency, sunshine time, consumption of milk, taking calcium tablets, history of diabetes, history of hormone taking,BMI,FPG are the influencing factors of osteoporosis in the elderly.3.Age,exercise frequency, sun exposure time, eating milk, taking calcium tablets and BMI are the influencing factors of osteoporosis in elderly men;Age,consumption of milk, taking calcium tablets, history of diabetes, history of hormone taking,BMI,FPG are the influencing factors of osteoporosis in elderly women.
