| Sulfur compounds are a kind of important organic compounds, which exist in a large number of natural products and drug molecules, have unique biological and pharmaceutical activities, and are widely used in medicine, pesticides, organic functional materials and other fields.Sulfur exists mainly in the form of sulfone, sulfoxide and sulfide in the drug structure.Efficient synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds has always been one of the concerned objects of organic chemists. So far,a large number of synthetic methods of sulfur-containing organic compounds have been reported,in which the construction of C-S bond is the main synthetic pathway. These new synthetic methods objectively promote the development of organic sulfur chemistry. However, the deficiency is that some existing methods use transition metal catalysts for catalysis, and even use sulfur reagents with poor stability, high toxicity and irritating odor as sulfur sources. Therefore,it is of great significance to develop novel, efficient and green synthesis methods. As a cheap and easily available iodine reagent, sodium iodide acts as a catalyst in many chemical reactions. With the development of EDA complex in photochemical reaction, sodium iodide also acts as an electron-donor.In the upsurge of photochemical development,we try to find a suitable method to synthesize sulfur compounds in the presence of sodium iodide. The purpose of this paper is to explore how to synthesize sulfur compounds by a simple, efficient and green method under the action of sodium iodide. And combined with the popular method in organic chemistry--electron donor-acceptor complex(EDA complex),sulfur-containing compounds were obtained under relatively green conditions. The main work lies in the following parts:Chapter 1: the methods for the synthesis of alkenyl sulfone compounds and imidazolo[1,2-a] pyridine sulfonyl compounds are reviewed, and the methods for the synthesis of sulfur compounds by forming EDA complexes are summarized.Chapter 2: proof experiment on the synthesis of sulfone compounds by EDA complex formed by iodine anion and sulfonyl chloride.Chapter 3: EDA complex is formed between iodine anion and thiosulfonate compounds to realize the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds. It is proved by experiments that the reaction of thiosulfonate with imidazo [1,2-a] pyridine and olefins is mainly divided into two reaction pathways, and two different reaction mechanisms realize the sulfonylation of aryl olefins and imidazole heterocycles.Chapter 4: β-iodovinylsulfone was synthesized by the reaction of arylsulfonyl chloride with alkynes mediated by NaI.The reaction has the advantages of simple operation, high yield,no need to use strong oxidant and transition metal, simple and efficient, and can carry out gram-level reaction. |
