| Objective: To investigate the effect of cognitive training combined with exercise and music on elderly with mild cognitive impairment(MCI).Methods: In this randomized controlled trial study,a randomized assignment method was used to classify 30 MCI elderly into the experimental group(n=15)and the control group(n=15).The experimental group conducted cognitive training combined with exercise and music, while the control group only conducted health education by professionals, and the Mini-mental State Examination Scale(MMSE)and the Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL)were used to measure and compare the two groups before and after the intervention. Results: After 12 months of intervention, the total score of MMSE,ADL and the sub-score of language, attention and computation in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with pre-intervention,the total score of MMSE,ADL and the sub-score of language, attention and computation in the experimental group were significantly increased(P<0.05).While the total score of MMSE,ADL and the sub-score of orientation, attention and computation in the control group were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion: Cognitive training combined with exercise and music can effectively improve the cognitive function and daily life ability in MCI elderly. It can be promoted in communities or pension institutions. |
