Brucellosis,a human-animal infectious disease caused by brucella,has caused huge economic losses to the farming industry,especially sheep and cattle farming,and health threats and mental torture to humans.Through the analysis and discussion of the current situation of brucellosis prevalence and human epidemic status in shaanbei white cashmere goat breeding in Jia County,so as to provide a basis for the prevention and control of human and animal brucellosis and the development of prevention and control system in Jia County.In this study,we visited the relevant departments in Jia County and the Shaanbei white cashmere goats farmers and issued questionnaires1 and 2,with 1072,1080,1105,and 1213 valid questionnaires2 in 2019,2020,2021,and 2022,respectively.The serological testing method of rose bengal plate agglutination test for positive screening and tube agglutination test for positive recheck was used to detect the serum samples of Shanbei white cashmere goats in 2019,2020,2021 and 2022,which were 7410,7351,7217 and 7290 respectively.To Investigate the distribution area,age,sex and occupation of new patients with human brucellosis in Jia from 2019 to 2022,based on the detection results of brucellosis in Shanbei white cashmere goats,the correlation between new cases of Brucellosis and the incidence of brucellosis in Shanbei white cashmere goats was analyzed.The results of the study are as follows:1.The questionnaire obtained that sheep farming in Jia County is dominated by small-scale free-range farmers raising Shaanbei white cashmere goats,which are immunized once a year with the S2 strain of Brucella vaccine,once a year.Farmers’ knowledge of brucellosis in 2019-2022 ranged from 37.5% to 80.54%;all did not quarantine Shaanbei white cashmere goats after introduction;0-8.49% introduced Shaanbei white cashmere goats for isolation;all were immunized with brucellosis vaccine;26.49%-39.7% performed pen disinfection;0-1.76% performed aborted fetuses for harmless disposal.2.Serological tests were obtained A total of 29,268 sera were collected from2019-2022 from Shaanbei white cashmere goats in Jia County,and 420 sera appeared positive for brucellosis,with a positivity rate of 1.44%.Among them,the positivity rates were 1.2%(89/7410),1.38%(102/7351),1.60%(116/7217),and 1.55%(113/7290)in 2019,2020,2021,and 2022,respectively.3.The total number of human brucellosis patients in Jia County is 136 new in2019-2022.Regional distribution: new brucellosis patients were seen in every township.Gender distribution: 76.47%(104/136)for males and 23.53%(32/136)for females.Age distribution: 74.26%(101/136)were aged 41-70 years old,mainly aged 51-60 years old.Occupation distribution: 97.79% of farmers(133/136)and 2.21% of other industries(3/136).New brucellosis patients in 2019-2022 are correlated with brucellosis Shaanbei white cashmere goats.The correlation coefficients and the degree of correlation for 2019,2020,2021 and 2022 are 0.56,moderate positive correlation,0.63,moderate positive correlation,0.62,moderate positive correlation,0.74 and moderate positive correlation,respectively.In summary,Shaanbei white cashmere goats is the main way of brucellosis transmission on earth in Jia County,and the propaganda of farmers’ knowledge about brucellosis should be strengthened to raise awareness of the importance of brucellosis prevention on earth and among animals.The number of human brucellosis can be reduced by controlling the number of positive brucellosis in Shaanbei white cashmere goats,and the prevention and control of brucellosis in other domestic animals should also be strengthened.
