Objective:To investigate the status quo of quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury, explore the factors that may affect the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury, and analyze the relationship between quality of life and self-efficacy,stigma,anxiety and depression,so as to provide specific reference for improving the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,165 patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury in 3 grade A hospitals in Nanjing from June 2021 to January 2022 were selected as subjects by convenience sampling method. The quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury was investigated by using the self-made general information questionnaire, generalized anxiety Scale, patient health Questionnaire, depression Scale,General self-efficacy Scale, revised Social Impact Scale and urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire. All data were input into SPSS21.0 for analysis.T test or non-parametric test was used for measurement data comparison,χ2 test or Fisher’s exact test was used for classification data comparison, and Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Status of quality of life of patients with spinal cord injury and urinary incontinence: the quality of life of patients was at medium level, with overall health status of(71.28±18.90)points,restricted behavior(25.93±6.97)points,psychosocial impact(29.52±7.76)points,and restricted social activities(15.83±4.57)points.2.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in quality of life in defecation,ASIA grade, hypertension, number of chronic diseases, complications, disease awareness and severity of urinary incontinence(P<0.05).3.Correlation analysis found that patients’ quality of life was positively correlated with self-efficacy,negatively correlated with stigma, and negatively correlated with anxiety and depression.4.Multivariate regression analysis showed that injury level, stigma, defecation and severity of urinary incontinence in patients with spinal cord injury had influence on the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury was poor, and the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury remained to be improved.2.Anxiety,depression and stigma were negatively correlated with patients’ quality of life, while self-efficacy was positively correlated with patients’ quality of life.3.The level of injury, stigma, defecation and severity of urinary incontinence had significant effects on the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after spinal cord injury.
