Background: Martial arts massage technique is a unique branch of traditional Chinese massage techniques.It is similar to Tai Chi in martial arts in terms of massage techniques and exertion methods.A quantitative study of this characteristic.The martial arts shaking method is widely used in clinical practice,but beginners often use brute force to shake irregularly because the subjects’ lower limbs are heavy and difficult to operate smoothly when mastering this method.Therefore,it is very important to quantify the method of the caster’s shaking and the quantification of the kinematic parameters.Objective: This study quantified the characteristics of "leg force" in the martial arts manipulation by analyzing the EMG signals of the upper and lower limbs during the process of the practitioner’s martial arts shaking.At the same time,by analyzing the EMG and kinematic parameters of the upper and lower limbs of different levels of martial arts practitioners,it provides a reference for the quantification of manipulation and teaching guidance.Methods: In this study,the practitioners were divided into a beginner group(1y<year<3y)and a skilled group(5<year)according to the years of massage.Among them,there were 20 students in the beginner group and 6 with rich clinical experience in the skilled group.massage teacher.The surface EMG signal(normalized value of root mean square amplitude,time to peak,and synergistic contraction rate)of the upper and lower limb muscles on the dominant side of the operator was collected by the surface EMG telemetry system,and all the operator’s shaking was collected by the Wave Track inertial capture system.The motion parameters of the upper limbs(the average period of shaking,the maximum angle,the minimum angle and the range of motion of the joints of each joint)during the method.All the practitioners’ shaking operations were in accordance with the book "Sports Medicine Massage Techniques",and the recipients were the same healthy male.Each person performed the shaking method for 10 consecutive times,and a total of 3 groups were collected.After the collection was completed,statistical software was used for statistical analysis of each index.Result:1.Quantization results of surface electromyographic signals of the two groups of surgeonsRoot mean square amplitude normalized value(RMS%): The skilled group exerted more force on lower limbs,while the beginner group exerted more force on upper limbs.In the skillful group,the gastrocnemius,biceps femoris,erector spinae and gluteus maximus had more force.The shaking operation of the beginner group: biceps brachii,extensor carpi ulnar,flexor carpi ulnar and biceps femoris more force.Peak time of electromyography: the peak time sequence of the skilled group was more in line with the order of "from the root,along the middle and at the tip",while the peak time sequence of the beginner group was more disordered.Compared with the skilled group,the peak time of gastrocnemius and biceps femoris was significantly longer in the beginner group(P<0.001),while the peak time of biceps brachii,triceps brachii,flexor carpi ularis and extensor carpi ularis was significantly faster(P<0.01).Cosystolic rate(CR): The cosystolic rate between all muscle groups in the skilled group is smaller and the maneuver is more smooth.CR values of rectus femoris/biceps femoris,tibialis anterior/gastrocnemius,triceps brachii/biceps brachii and extensor carpi ulnar/flexor carpi ulnar in beginner group were significantly higher than those in skilled group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.Quantitative results of the upper limb kinematic parameters of the two groups of surgeons(1)The average period of shaking method: the average period of shaking method in the beginner group was 0.93 s,and that in the skilled group was 0.84 s,with no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)The maximum Angle of each joint: the maximum Angle of shoulder joint flexion is56.92 ~ 57.10° during the skillful group shaking operation;Shoulder abduction was 59.71 ~62.10°;The maximum flexion Angle of elbow joint was 42.96 ~ 47.45°.The maximum Angle of wrist flexion was 5.99 ~ 8.67°.The maximum Angle of cubit deviation is 17.27~17.79°.The maximum Angle of right cubit deviation in beginner group was significantly greater than that in skilled group,but there was no statistical difference in the maximum Angle of other joints(P>0.05).(3)The minimum Angle of each joint: the minimum Angle of shoulder joint flexion is43.95 ~ 44.07° when the skillful group shaking method is used;Shoulder joint abduction was40.82 ~ 42.93°;The minimum elbow flexion Angle was 24.10 ~ 30.42°.The minimum Angle of wrist flexion was 1.89 ~ 8.93°.The minimum cubit deviation Angle is 5.86 ~ 9.41°.The minimum angles of shoulder abduction,wrist flexion and cubit deviation in beginner group were significantly lower than those in skilled group(P<0.01).(4)the range of motion of each joint: the range of motion of shoulder joint flexion is12.98 ~ 13.03° when the skillful group shaking method is operated;The range of shoulder abduction activity was 18.89 ~ 19.16°.The flexion range of elbow joint was 17.03 ~ 18.85°.The range of wrist flexion activity was 15.40 ~ 17.60°.The cubit deviation range was 19.69 ~23.13°.The activity range of shoulder abduction,elbow flexion,wrist flexion and cubit deviation in beginner group was greater than that in skilled group(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Through the analysis of the surface electromyography of the upper and lower limbs during the operation of the martial medicine shaking method,this study found that the gastrocnemius muscle and the biceps femoris muscle of the skilled group produced more force during the operation of the martial medicine shaking method,and the muscle activation sequence was in line with the "from bottom to top" sequence,while the manipulation was more smooth and coordinated.(2)By comparing the surface EMG signals and motion parameters of the upper and lower limbs of the practitioners of different ages during the martial medicine shaking method,this study found that the beginners’ upper limb muscle groups exert more force and the range of motion of each joint is larger during the shaking method operation.It is recommended that the beginners correct the above problems in the manipulation practice. |
