Objective: Based on the observation of conventional treatment, this study compared the clinical efficacy and safety of the modifi ed Xu Ming Decoction combined with the new Bobath therapy and the new Bobath therapy alone for patients with limb hemiplegia i n the convalescence period of ischemic stroke with qi deficiency a nd blood stasis. Objective to explore the combination of traditionalChinese medicine and modern rehabilitation technology to further improve the quality of life of patients. Methods: In this study,a total of 60 cases were hospitalized in Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine.According to the random number table method,60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional western medicine basic treatment. In addition, the treatment group was treated with Xuming decoction combined with new Bobath therapy; The control group was only treated with new Bobath therapy.Activities of daily living(ADL): modified Barthel index score(MBI)before and 4 weeks after treatment;(2)Limb motor function:short form Fugl Meyer motor function score(FMA);(3)After treatment, the curative effect of stroke was evaluated. The improvement of Barthel index,Fugl Meyer motor function score,TCM syndrome score and the curative effect of stroke in the two groups were observed, and the difference of curative effect and safety between the two groups were comprehensively evaluated. All data were collected by Excel 2010 and analyzed by SPSS25.0.Results:1.Baseline comparison: there were no significant differences in age, gender, course of disease, modified Barthel index before treatment, simple Fugl-Meyer motor function score, and TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Efficacy comparison:(1)After the completion of 4 weeks of treatment for stroke efficacy evaluation, the treatment group of 11 people significantly improved,13 people improved,3 people slightly improved,3 people invalid, the total effective rate of 90%;In the control group,7 showed significant improvement,9 showed improvement,5showed slight improvement, and 9 showed no improvement. The total effective rate was 70%.By rank sum test,Z=-2.011,P= 0.044<0.05,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.(2)After treatment, the scores of limb FMA and MBI in 2 groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the TCM syndrome scores were significantly lower than those before treatment, with statistical significance P < 0.05).(3)Comparison between groups: the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the daily living ability, the flexibility of the movement function of the affected limb, and the reduction of TCM syndrome scores, with statistical significance(P<0.05).3.Safety comparison: no obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:1.The combination of Modifying Life Decoction and New Bobath therapy can effectively improve the TCM syndrome scores of hemiplegia patients in the convalescence stage of ischemic stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis, improve the limb motor function and improve the ability of daily living activities.2.No obvious adverse reactions occurred in this study, indicating that the combination of the modified life decoction and the new Bobath therapy has a good safety.
