| Objective: To analyze the levels of autocrine(ATX)and lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)i n serum of patients with retinal vein occlusion(RVO)and their correlation with central macular thickness(CMT)and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA).Methods: 43 RVO patients hospitalized in the ophthalmology department of Taizhou P eople’s Hospital from September 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the RVO group,an d 40 patients from the physical examination center at the same time were selected as the control group.RVO patients and the control group underwent optical coherence tomogr aphy(OCT),B-ultrasound,fundus fluorescence angiography(FFA),slit lamp, and visua l acuity examination.Record the general clinical data and laboratory indicators of both[four items of blood lipids, platelet count(PLT),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet volume distribution width(PDW),fibrinogen,D-dimer].ELISA was used to detect the concentrations of serum ATX and LPA in two groups of people.Compare the serum dif ferences between RVO patients and the control group, and analyze the correlation betwe en serum ATX and LPA concentrations,CMT,and BCVA in RVO patients.Perform on e-way and multivariate analysis of variance on the general clinical and laboratory data o f two groups of patients to screen for risk factors related to RVO.Result:1.Compared with the control group, the serum total cholesterol(CHOL),triglycerides(TG),and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)concentrations in RVO patients were significantly increased(t=4.804,P<0.001;t=2.031,P=0.046;t=5.109,P<0.001),T here was no significant difference in serum high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C)concentra tion(t=1.824,P=0.072).Compared with the control group, there were no statistically sig nificant differences in mean platelet volume(MVP),platelet volume distribution width(PDW),platelet count(PLT),fibrinogen, and D-dimer levels in RVO patients(t=0.795,P=0.429;t=1.108,P=0.271;t=0.997,P=0.332;t=0.173,P=0.823;t=1.741,P=0.086).2.Compared with the control group, the serum ATX and LPA concentrations in RVO p atients were significantly increased, with a statistically significant difference(t=2.399,P<0.05;t=2.224,P=0.029).There is a correlation between serum ATX and LPA concentr ations in RVO patients(r=0.5591,P=0.0001).3.The serum ATX concentration in RVO patients showed a significant positive correl ation with CMT and BCVA(r=0.359,P=0.0229;r=0.453,P=0.004);The serum LPA co ncentration in RVO patients was also significantly positively correlated with CMT and BCVA(r=0.635,P<0.001;r=0.239,P=0.0038).4.There was no significant difference in age, sex,LOGMAR,CMT,hypertension, diab etes, and atherosclerosis between CRVO and BRVO subgroups(P>0.05).Compared wit h the control group, there was no statistically significant difference in serum CHOL,TG,HDL-C,and LDL-C concentrations in RVO patients(t=1.032,P=0.301;t=1.339,P=0.218;t=1.362,P=0.391;t=1.590,P=0.389);Compared with the control group, there was n o statistically significant difference in serum PLT,MPV,PDW,fibrinogen, and D-dime r concentrations in RVO patients;Compared with the control group, there was no statisti cally significant difference in serum ATX and LPA concentrations in RVO patients(t=1.371,P=0.831;t=0.735,P=0.747).5.Single factor regression analysis of RVO incidence showed that gender, hypertensio n,atherosclerosis,LPA concentration,CHOL concentration and PLT were independent risk factors of RVO disease(OR=2.278,OR=1.009,OR=1.008,OR=1.003,OR=6.691,OR=1.048,P<0.05);The concentration of HDL-C is an independent protective factor fo r RVO disease(OR=0.961,P<0.05).Age,diabetes,ATX concentration,TG concentrati on,LDL-C concentration,MVP,PDW,fibrinogen,D-dimer were not related to RVO(P>0.05).6.Multivariate regression analysis of RVO incidence showed that hypertension [OR=1.009,95% CI(1.515-1.715)],elevated LPA concentration [OR=1.998,95% CI(0.997-1.000)],and elevated CHOL concentration [OR=2.294,95% CI(1.137-1.632)] were indepe ndent risk factors for RVO incidence, while elevated HDL-C concentration [OR=0.179,95% CI(0.012-2.771)] was an independent protective factor for RVO incidence. |
