Objective:To observe the effect of Qi puncture on trigger point in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with wind cold dampness bi type, and provides a reference and method for the treatment of this disease. Methods:A totle of 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,36 cases in each group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with Qi puncture on trigger point, while those in the control group were treated with acupoint warming acupuncture. The treatment was conducted 5 times a week, for 3 weeks. The VAS score,WOMAC scale, suprapatellar bursal effusion, synovial thickness and clinical efficacy were evaluated before and after treatment,SPSS26.0 statistical software was used for the data processing and analysis.Results:1.A total of 72 patients were included in this study,2 cases fell off in the treatment group and 4 cases fell off in the control group.Finally,66 cases completed the clinical study. There was no significant difference in age, sex, course of disease,BMI,WOMAC score,VAS score,Suprapatellar bursal effusion and synovial thickness between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the baseline data of the two groups were comparable.2.Main outcome measures:After treatment, the scores of WOMAC in both groups, including pain, stiffness and daily living ability, were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the above indexes in the treatment group was superior to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Secondary outcome measures:After treatment, the score of VAS and the depth of suprapatellar bursal effusion in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the above indexes in the treatment group was superior to the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The thickness of synovial in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),while those in the control group was similar to that before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Compared with the control group, the treatment group was superior to the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).4.Clinical effectiveness observation:In the treatment group,4 cases were clinically controlled,16 cases were significantly effective,11 cases were effective, and the total effective rate was 91.18%,and in control group,2 cases were clinically controlled,9 cases were significantly effective,14 cases were effective, and the total effective rate was 78.13%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Qi puncture on trigger point and warm acupuncture on acupoint both have a good clinical effect on knee osteoarthritis wind cold dampness bi type, which can relieve knee pain, improve stiffness symptoms, improve daily activity abilityand has no obvious adverse reactions, and the remarkable untoward reaction was not observed.2.Qi puncture on trigger point was superior to warm acupuncture on acupoint in improving VAS score,WOMAC score, patellar bursal, synovial thickness and clinical efficiency.3.Qi puncture on trigger point can eliminate the patellar bursal effusion and improve the thickness of synovium, which may be related to effectively inhibit the inflammatory reaction of synovium, thus relieve the pain symptoms of knee osteoarthritis.
