| Objective In this study, virtual reality technology combined with flipped classroom was used to train junior nurses in hemodialysis room for fistula puncture,in order to improve the theoretical knowledge operating skill and success rate of fistula puncture in junior nurses in hemodialysis room, reduce the pain of hemodialysis patients and protect the ’lifeline’ of patients. To provide data support and evidence-based basis for the future application of this training method in nursing teaching and training. Methods 40 junior nurses who entered the hemodialysis room from January 2020 to January 2022 were recruited as subjects.Using the random number method as the grouping basis, the subjects meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 20 cases in the control group and 20 cases in the experimental group. The control group received routine training, while the experimental group received virtual reality technology combined with flipped classroom for one month.Evaluation index:two groups of nurses fistula puncture theory test results and clinical operation examination results;the success rate of internal fistula puncture in the two groups one month after training;evaluation of training courses by two groups of nurses. The theoretical examination questions were extracted from the item bank of blood purification nursing textbooks. The clinical operation assessment scale was designed according to the standard operation process of Zhejiang hemodialysis quality control center.Theoretical assessment is 100 points, including single-choice questions,multiple-choice questions;clinical skills assessment points buttonhole puncture and ladder puncture operation assessment, the final score is the average score of the two operations. The total number of cases of internal fistula puncture and the number of successful puncture cases within one month after the training of nurses in the two groups were counted, and the success rate of puncture was calculated. The curriculum evaluation adopts a self-designed questionnaire. The evaluation items include training to improve learning interest, satisfaction with training methods, training to achieve the expected goals, and appropriate training time.In this study,SPSS21.0 software was used for analysis:Quantitative data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation for normal distribution and homogeneity of variance.Independent sample t test was used for comparison between the two groups.Median(P25,P75)was used for non-satisfation.Non-parameric rank sum test was used for comparison between groups.Qualitative data were expressed as percentage(%).Chi-square test was used for comparison between groups.P<0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant. Results There was no statistical difference in the general data of nurses between the two groups;the theoretical test scores of nurses in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P=0.001).There was no significant difference in the clinical operation assessment score(P=0.423)and the success rate of internal fistula puncture after one month(P=0.934)between the two groups. The nurses in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group in the evaluation of the four items of improving learning interest, satisfaction with training methods, reaching the expected goal of training and appropriate training time(P<0.001).Conclusion The application of virtual reality technology combined with flipped classroom in fistula puncture training of junior nurses in hemodialysis room can improve the theoretical knowledge level of nurses, improve the learning interest and learning effect of nurses, which is a new and effective training scheme. However, the promotion of clinical operation is limited, and it is hoped to explore training programs that can be beneficial to operation practice in the future. |
