According to the "2021 China Health Statistical Yearbook" released by the National Health Commission,in 2020,the mortality rate of urban residents due to cancer will reach 1.614/100,000,and the mortality rate of rural residents due to cancer will reach1.61.8/100,000.It has become one of the high incidence diseases in China.At present,the ability of middle-aged and elderly cancer patients in my country to use the Internet is relatively low,and it is difficult to obtain effective and targeted health information from other channels except the health information provided by medical staff.The lack of health information is one of the factors affecting the treatment,mood and quality of life of cancer patients.Research on cancer patients-related issues in my country mainly focuses on patients’ negative emotions,tranquility,and spiritual care,and pays less attention to the predicament of cancer patients’ health information adoption.Therefore,this paper analyzes the current status of health information adoption by conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews with cancer patients in X Hospital,and puts forward research reflections on the adoption of health information for cancer patients based on practical experience.Using qualitative and quantitative research methods,this study conducted interviews with 100 cancer patients and their families to explore the dilemmas faced by cancer patients in the adoption of health information during admission,diagnosis,and treatment.The study found that cancer patients are not satisfied with the way and channels of obtaining health information,mainly in the three aspects of the validity,authenticity and adequacy of health information,and the four stages of admission,examination,treatment and rehabilitation of health information needs..In the process of adopting health information,some patients and their family members are caught in cognitive and behavioral deviations in medical treatment and nursing due to lack of power or cognitive differences caused by different educational levels.At the same time,due to social support The lack of cognitive bias in some specific situations is more serious.In response to the above findings,from the perspective of the social work profession,this study proposes to carry out medical social work projects and various social supports in a targeted manner by understanding the needs of the above four stages and three aspects,and integrate medical services in the process.Personnel,foundations,medical welfare policies and other information and channels that are conducive to healthy recovery,use case and group methods to educate patients and their families on the adoption of health information,and dig out and provide formal support for cancer patients in different stages and types And informal support,it has played a positive role in helping them to establish the correct concept of health information adoption,thereby improving the quality of life of cancer patients. |
