| Purpose:To comprehensively and deeply understand the nursing staff’s knowledge,learning attitude and needs of nursing ethics,and develop the smart learning platform of nursing Ethics course based on wechat software,in order to help the nursing staff expand the learning approach of nursing ethics continuing education.Through the application of the nursing ethics curriculum wisdom learning platform,to help nurses constantly enrich and improve the knowledge of nursing ethics system and improve nurses’ clinical nursing ethical decision-making ability and level,and the wisdom of learning platform developed can be applied to the teaching practice of nursing educators journal of nursing ethics,it provides theoretical reference and empirical basis for developing strategies to improve the quality of nursing ethics teaching.Method:1.Investigation on nursing ethics learning status and needs of nursing staff.Using general demographic information questionnaire,the Chinese version of critical thinking attitude tendency questionnaire,nursing ethical decisions,through convenience sampling investigation to understand from 27 provinces of the nation’s 431 clinical nurses nursing ethics continues to the present situation of the education,preliminary understanding the clinical nurses in nursing ethics cognition of related knowledge,learning content,form and its requirements,provide data support for the subsequent development of intelligent learning platform.2.Survey on nursing staff’s attitude and demand for online learning nursing ethics.Using the phenomenological research method in qualitative research,nursing staff with online learning experience of nursing ethics were selected through purpose sampling to conduct semi-structured personal in-depth interviews.According to the principle of information saturation,a total of 20 nursing staff were included for the interview.This paper conducted a survey on attitudes and needs of nursing ethics online learning,and used content analysis method to analyze the interview data,and further explored the characteristics of nursing staff’s demand for nursing ethics wisdom learning content,the advantages and obstacles of the application of online teaching mode,etc.The research and development of the smart learning platform provides scientific and operational basis.3.Design and development of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.Based on the results of relevant literature review at home and abroad,combined with the data analysis of nursing staff’s learning status,attitude and demand for nursing ethical knowledge in the first two research parts,as well as the discussion with nursing education experts,the platform design ideas were formulated.The nursing ethics teaching content as the main basis,comprehensive search network,books,and clinical and teaching content in a line height adaptation of the original case material,through sorting summary and will be part of the case through visual processing into animation simulation case,together with the professional software production company to complete final build of learning platform.4.Trial test of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.The convenience sampling method was adopted to select 34 clinical nurses from Grade THREE Grade A hospitals in Chongqing as the research objects,and conduct online learning for two weeks on the intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics developed.Objective evaluation tools are nursing decision-making ability scale and critical thinking tendency scale.Subjective evaluation tools are precise teaching evaluation index system of Zhu Xuan and learning software evaluation index system of Zhong Bochang.SPSS 25.0 software was used to analyze the demographic characteristics of nurses.Paired sample T test was used to compare the nursing decision making and critical thinking ability of clinical nurses before and after learning.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to explore the relationship between learning effect and learning software quality.Based on the results of this part of the study,we summarize and formulate targeted improvement strategies.5.Application research of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.Using the quasi-experimental study method,73 clinical nurses(including 30 in the research group and 43 in the control group)were selected to explore the effects of the learning platform on improving the decision-making ability and critical thinking ability of clinical nurses in nursing ethics.The research group used the intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat developed by the research group for intervention,while the control group used the paper learning resources provided for offline self-learning.The evaluation tools include judgment about nursing decision,critical thinking disposition inventory-Chinese Version,learning effect questionnaire and learning software quality evaluation scale.Paired sample T test and independent sample T test were performed on the data by SPSS 25.0software.Continuous variables were described by mean and standard deviation.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the relationship between learning effect and learning software quality.Results:1.Nursing ethics learning status and needs of nursing staff.The results of the cross-sectional survey indicated that the overall nursing ethical decision-making ability of clinical nurses was at a medium level(N=382,88.63%),and the overall critical thinking ability was at an unknown level(N=281,65.20%).The overall characteristics of all dimensions were positive.Most clinical nurses have encountered ethical dilemmas(N=370,85.85%),but due to the lack of ways to continue to learn ethics,they are relatively short of ethical theoretical knowledge and nursing ethical decision-making ability,which leads to the lack of confidence of clinical nurses to deal with ethical dilemmas.In addition,the needs of clinical nurses for the forms of nursing ethics continuing education tend to be diversified.2.Attitudes and needs of nursing staff towards online learning of nursing ethics knowledge.The results of qualitative research were distilled into 3 major themes and 7 sub-themes.The research topics are as follows:(1)Learning cognition(different learning attitudes:guiding clinical practice,lack of understanding and motivation;Learning gains: realize the importance of ethics,and constantly improve the ideological and moral quality);(2)Teaching characteristics(Advantages: not limited by time and space,reduce learning pressure,promote retrospective learning;Deficiency: easy to be disturbed by external factors,lack of supervision and management,not conducive to discussion);(3)Learning needs(online and offline combined learning mode,cutting-edge visual learning resources,comprehensive and in-depth learning content).3.Design and development of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.The design ideas of five comprehensive modules including curriculum database,test database,case database,quick message and personal setting are drawn up.The intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software was developed by integrating and optimizing various learning resources such as intelligent simulation case animation,famous teacher’s class,textbook courseware and test questions.After running test,the platform page design is concise and beautiful,the operation is simple,the running stable smooth function,online answer function response quickly,right and wrong feedback sensitive system,course fluent,play video and animation video case definition,clear beautiful,news alerts page link building is reasonable,the personal Settings page simple intuitive,convenient operation,The whole has the characteristics of immediacy,continuity and interest,and has been approved by the People’s Republic of China computer software copyright certificate.4.Trial test of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.The test results show that the platform covers five comprehensive modules,including curriculum database,question bank,case database,quick message and personal Settings.The page is simple,the operation is smooth and the operation is convenient.The clinical nursing staff learning based on this platform can improve their nursing ethical decision-making ability and critical thinking ability to a certain extent.The learning effect of the platform(N=28,82.35%)and software quality evaluation(N=28,82.35%)are excellent.5.Application effect of intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics based on wechat software.Further experimental research found that the We Chat-based smart learning platform of "Nursing Ethics" constructed by this subject has good feedback on the learning effect and overall evaluation of software quality.The nursing ethics decision-making ability(332.54±26.43)and critical thinking ability(299.80±28.36)of clinical nurses after applying the learning platform were higher than those before the application of nursing ethics decision-making ability(316.00±25.75)and critical thinking ability(283.54±34.89)significantly improved(P<0.01).In the measurement results of the Nursing Ethics Decision-Making Ability Scale,the scores of each dimension in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the Critical Thinking Ability Scale,the research group scored higher than the control group in the four dimensions of analytical,systematic,critical thinking,self-confidence,curiosity and total score.There is a correlation between the quality of learning software and learning effect,and the correlation coefficient is 0.64(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.Clinical nurses have an urgent need for continuing education of nursing ethics,and the continuing education of nursing ethics for nurses in hospitals or departments needs to be further strengthened,and it is necessary to further expand the ways and enrich the contents of continuing education of nursing ethics.2.The online learning mode of nursing ethics has the advantages of being free from time and space constraints,flexible and convenient,suggesting that this learning mode may become one of the ways of nursing ethics continuing education.3.The intelligent learning platform of Nursing Ethics developed in this study has high clinical suitability and features of immediacy,continuity and interest.Its operation tests are good,and it can better meet the urgent needs of nursing staff for flexible intelligent learning methods and cutting-edge visual learning contents.4.The trial test and application research show that the platform has good learning effect and can provide a convenient and easy new way for clinical nursing staff to continue their nursing ethics education and improve their decision-making ability of clinical nursing ethics.At the same time,it can also be used as an auxiliary tool for teaching in colleges and universities to effectively improve the teaching quality. |
