Abstract/Summary:
Objective:This topic observes the relevant indexes and TCM symptoms of dry eye of the type of insufficient tear secretion(syndrome of deficiency of liver and kidney)treated by acupuncture,To study the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of dry eye with insufficient tear secretion. Methods:The 54 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this clinical trial were divided into two groups according to the principle of random number table method;27 patients in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture combined with self-prepared dry eye No.1 prescription, and 27 patients in the control group were treated with self-prepared dry eye.No.1 treatment, continuous treatment for 14 days. Before treatment and at the end of treatment, the patients were tested for Schirmer II test(SIIT)、Breakup time of tear film(BUT)、and corneal fluorescence stain(FL)、TCM symptom score for patients,Perform data analysis.Results:1.After treatment,TCM symptoms,SIIT,BUT,and FL of the two groups were improved, and the improvement degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased, and the degree of decrease in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After treatment, the improvement effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After treatment, the total effective rate was 72.00%in the control group and 88.4 6%in the treatment group,P<0.05.The effect of acupuncture on dry eye with insufficient secretion was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture can effectively improve the symptoms of dry eye with insufficient tear secretion(syndrome of deficiency of liver and kidney).2.Acupuncture can effectively improve the secretion of basal tears in patients.3.Dry eye Prescription no.1 is effective in the treatment of dry eye with insufficient secretion. However, the efficacy of acupuncture and medicine combined was better than that of traditional Chinese medicine group.
